The True and the False
For reading & meditation: 2 Timothy 1:1-18
" ... our Savior, Christ Jesus ... has destroyed death and has brought
life and immortality to light ..." (v. 10)
Several of the world's religions, when faced with the perplexing issue
of Christ's return from the dead, explain it in terms of
reincarnation. A proponent of one of the Eastern religions says:
"Christ's resurrection was really a reincarnation - another soul in
another body." I once heard a Christian minister declare that Paul's
reference to Christ as the firstborn from among the dead (Col. 1:18)
was a clear allusion to reincarnation. There is no doubt that our Lord
came from a virgin womb and a virgin tomb, but the body that emerged
from the sepulchre was not fashioned in the tomb as it had been when
He was an infant in Mary's womb. The body was the same one as before.
Others try to explain Christ's resurrection as living on in the
recollection of others. "To live in the minds and hearts of those we
love," goes a well-known saying often heard at funerals, "is not to
die." It has to be acknowledged that some live so vibrantly that it is
hard to think of
them as dead even after one has attended their funeral. But when we
talk about Christ's resurrection, we are not saying He survives in our
memories. Recollection is not resurrection. The body which died upon
the cross and was laid in the cool tomb on the evening of the first
Good Friday was miraculously infused with life once again early in the
morning of the first Easter Day. It is as literal and as factual as
that. This - nothing less and nothing else - is what we mean by the
resurrection of our Lord from the dead.
Prayer:
Father, I am so thankful that in bringing Your Son back to life You
brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. I know this
to be true for in You there cannot be such a thing as death. Life is
so sure - as sure as You are. Amen.
For further study:
Ephesians 1:120; Romans 4:25; 1 Corinthians 15:35; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-15
Thank God for what you have,
Trust God for what you need.

Sustained!
Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never
permit the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22
Recommended Reading
Psalm 55:16-22
Today's devotion is sponsored by two simple syllables: Sustain. It's a word
that means "to support, to hold, to bear up from beneath, to bear the
weight of." Nehemiah 9:21 says about the Israelites, "Forty years You
sustained them in the wilderness; they lacked nothing." The psalmist said,
"I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the LORD sustained me" (Psalm 3:5).
David promised that God would sustain the generous person even on a bed of
sickness (Psalm 41:3).
Isaiah 46:4 says, "Even to your old age and gray hairs...I am He Who will
sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you" NIV
(1984).
Like the giant pillars of an unshakable bridge, the promises of God bear us
up from beneath. His everlasting arms sustain us through every storm. A
hymn by Anne Steele provides a good prayer for today: "My great protector,
and my Lord, Thy constant aid impart; O let Thy kind, Thy gracious Word
sustain my trembling heart."
Under every condition, in every circumstance, for every burden, in every
need, through every sorrow, Christ, the source and sustainer of life, is
more than sufficient.

Jesus Our Intimate Friend
Matthew 26:47-50
I've counseled plenty of folks who argue that they are not worthy of God's
love. Of all the passages I could point to that describe the Lord's
devotion, today's is the one I think best showcases the unqualified
friendship He offers His followers.
As Jesus was praying in the garden of Gethsemane on the night before His
crucifixion, Judas Iscariot approached him with a band of men. The betrayer
stepped forward and kissed the Lord's cheek. And what was Jesus' response?
According to another disciple, Matthew, He called the man "Friend" (Matt.
26:50).
Judas expected Jesus to establish His kingdom on earth and drive the Romans
out of Israel—anyone who could calm a storm at sea could easily remove an
oppressive government! But Judas's interest in Jesus was more personal and
political than spiritual. In fact, John reported that his fellow disciple
stole from the money box (12:6). Today the man's name is synonymous with
those who betray others for personal gain.
In spite of Judas' greed, blind ambition, and betrayal, Jesus never stopped
loving him; He still used the word "friend" to address the one-time
disciple. The Lord does not place conditions on His love or reject people
who fail to meet certain standards. He simply cares for us as we are.
People cannot earn Jesus Christ's love and friendship. He takes the
initiative, reaches out, and draws into fellowship those who are willing.
We are not worthy, but we are privileged to live in His love anyway. In the
Lord, we find a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Prov. 18:24).

The world around you is a reflection, a mirror showing you the person you are
This is a great reflective poem , it goes .."The good you find
in others, is in you too. The faults you find in others, are your
faults as well. After all, to recognize something you must know it.The
possibilities you see in others, are possible for you as well. The
beauty you see around you, is your beauty.
The world around you is a reflection, a mirror showing you the
person you are. To change your world, you must change yourself. To
blame and complain will only make matters worse. Whatever you care
about, is your responsibility.
What you see in others, shows you yourself. See the best in
others, and you will be your best. Give to others, and you give to
yourself. Appreciate beauty, and you will be beautiful. Admire
creativity, and you will be creative. Love, and you will be loved.
Seek to understand, and you will be understood.
Listen, and your voice will be heard. Teach, and you will learn.
Show your best face to the mirror, and you'll be happy with the face
looking back at you.

People will forget what you did,
But people will never forget how you made them feel"

End Daily Struggles
"Relax and enjoy life's journey."
Every day you're bombarded with an ever-increasing number of
opportunities, yet you don't seem to have enough time to get things
done. If that isn't enough, you believe you're not working quickly
enough to keep up with the nonstop flow of information streaming out
of your computer. Worse yet, you feel as if you'll be left in the dust
if you don't keep up.
The truth is, there will never be enough time to get everything
done, so, don't kill yourself trying.
You can face overwhelming challenges, yet still make each day
purposeful, by keeping in mind a clear intention of what you want to
do. Resolve to stay focused on accomplishing important tasks. Be
willing to say "No" when you are asked to add responsibilities that
are not in harmony with your aspirations.
Life is not meant to be a struggle but a balanced and joyful journey.

Best place to start
+++++++++++++++++++
Where is the best place to start, when you're determined to
make real improvements in your life? Where is the best place
to start, when you're totally committed to following your
dream?
The best place to start is precisely where you are. The best
time to start is the moment you are in.
As difficult and challenging as your situation may be, in
that situation is a way to move forward. From where you are
right now, there is a path that leads to precisely where you
would like to be.
Don't waste your time wishing for a more favorable starting
point. Instead, make use of the starting point you have, and
get going.
Rather than complaining about not having enough, use your
creativity and imagination to become more and more effective
with what you do have. Devote your energy to creating new
value in the present, not to resentment of the past.
This is the best place to start, because this is the place
from which you can start right now. From here you can
literally go anywhere, so go ahead, take that first step and
don't look back.

My children. rejoice in the day I have given for it is one to give
glory to God the creator of the universe who rules and reigns forever
and ever. Worthy is His Holy Name to be exalted with honor and
praise. Do not heed the voices that is trying to stop the flow of
this message for I AM the voice pay much attention too for Mine is
the voice that speaks through out time and eternity; even before the
word was written, even before there was pen and ink I spoke to Adam
and Abraham and even when he was Abram I spoke to him. Many are they
that have heard from on high that had not the ability to write and
record what I have spoken. Would I be a great God even the Great I AM
if I refused to speak and communicate with My people, those that are
called by My Name? What good is the Holy Spirit if He failed to
communicate with those of whom He dwells?
He does not come and go but abides with the children to give love.
wisdom and comfort. He is God abiding with His children. There are
no quarrels, neither confliction between God the Father, God the Son,
and God the Holy Ghost, and all hear and answer your prayers in
complete agreement one with another and with those who pray for the
will of their Heavenly Father. Your fleshly prayers are not always
what is best for you and are not always in the Father's will, so
consider this when you pray. Prayers of praise and thankfulness are
what I hear and heed best. Praise is an obedience to the Father's
will. Praise clears the line of communication with you and your
Heavenly Father. Do not ever be shameful of praise and worship as it
is like a fire spreading among you, uplifting the hearts of others to
praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord and again I say praise be unto the Most High God,
Praise be unto the Name of Jesus, Praise be unto the Holy Spirit.
Blessed are those that praise the Lord at all times for His Name is
worthy.

[I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body may be preserved
blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.--That he might
present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or

Morning
"There is laid up for me a crown of righteousness."-2 Timothy 4:8
Doubting one! thou hast often said, "I fear I shall never enter heaven."
Fear not! all the people of God shall enter there. I love the quaint saying
of a dying man, who exclaimed, "I have no fear of going home; I have sent
all before me; God's finger is on the latch of my door, and I am ready for
Him to enter." "But," said one, "are you not afraid lest you should miss
your inheritance?" "Nay," said he, "nay; there is one crown in heaven which
the angel Gabriel could not wear, it will fit no head but mine. There is
one throne in heaven which Paul the apostle could not fill; it was made for
me, and I shall have it." O Christian, what a joyous thought! thy portion
is secure; "there remaineth a rest." "But cannot I forfeit it?" No, it is
entailed. If I be a child of God I shall not lose it. It is mine as
securely as if I were there. Come with me, believer, and let us sit upon
the top of Nebo, and view the goodly land, even Canaan. Seest thou that
little river of death glistening!
in the sunlight, and across it dost thou see the pinnacles of the eternal
city? Dost thou mark the pleasant country, and all its joyous inhabitants?
Know, then, that if thou couldst fly across thou wouldst see written upon
one of its many mansions, "This remaineth for such a one; preserved for him
only. He shall be caught up to dwell for ever with God." Poor doubting one,
see the fair inheritance; it is thine. If thou believest in the Lord Jesus,
if thou hast repented of sin, if thou hast been renewed in heart, thou art
one of the Lord's people, and there is a place reserved for thee, a crown
laid up for thee, a harp specially provided for thee. No one else shall
have thy portion, it is reserved in heaven for thee, and thou shalt have it
ere long, for there shall be no vacant thrones in glory when all the chosen
are gathered in.

Evening
"In my flesh shall I see God."-Job 19:26
Mark the subject of Job's devout anticipation "I shall see God." He does
not say, "I shall see the saints"-though doubtless that will be untold
felicity-but, "I shall see God." It is not-"I shall see the pearly gates, I
shall behold the walls of jasper, I shall gaze upon the crowns of gold,"
but "I shall see God." This is the sum and substance of heaven, this is the
joyful hope of all believers. It is their delight to see Him now in the
ordinances by faith. They love to behold Him in communion and in prayer;
but there in heaven they shall have an open and unclouded vision, and thus
seeing "Him as He is," shall be made completely like Him. Likeness to
God-what can we wish for more? And a sight of God-what can we desire
better? Some read the passage, "Yet, I shall see God in my flesh," and find
here an allusion to Christ, as the "Word made flesh," and that glorious
beholding of Him which shall be the splendour of the latter days. Whether
so or not it is certain that Christ sh!
all be the object of our eternal vision; nor shall we ever want any joy
beyond that of seeing Him. Think not that this will be a narrow sphere for
the mind to dwell in. It is but one source of delight, but that source is
infinite. All His attributes shall be subjects for contemplation, and as He
is infinite under each aspect, there is no fear of exhaustion. His works,
His gifts, His love to us, and His glory in all His purposes, and in all
His actions, these shall make a theme which will be ever new. The patriarch
looked forward to this sight of God as a personal enjoyment. "Whom mine eye
shall behold, and not another." Take realizing views of heaven's bliss;
think what it will be to you. "Thine eyes shall see the King in His
beauty." All earthly brightness fades and darkens as we gaze upon it, but
here is a brightness which can never dim, a glory which can never fade-"I
shall see God."

Today's Promise from the Bible
Hebrews 3:14
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our
confidence stedfast unto the end;
Reflection
Here we have an encouragement to keep on walking the walk. God will
help us to persevere. He would never give us something that we cannot
do through Him. As partakers of Christ, we have the privilege of
having Christ's righteousness put on us. Then God sees Christ's
righteousness instead of our sin. We are allowed this privilege if we
persevere in the practice and proclamation of Christianity.

Living as Good Samaritans
The testimony of the true follower of Christ might well be something
like this: The world's pleasures and the world's treasures henceforth
have no appeal for me. I reckon myself crucified to the world and the
world crucified to me. But the multitudes that were so dear to Christ
shall not be less dear to me. If I cannot prevent their moral suicide,
I shall at least baptize them with my human tears. I want no blessing
that I cannot share. I seek no spirituality that I must win at the
cost of forgetting that men and women are lost and without hope. If in
spite of all I can do they will sin against light and bring upon
themselves the displeasure of a holy God, then I must not let them go
their sad way unwept. I scorn a happiness that I must purchase with
ignorance. I reject a heaven that I must enter by shutting my eyes to
the sufferings of my fellow men. I choose a broken heart rather than
any happiness that ignores the tragedy of human life and human death.
Though I, through the grace of God in Christ, no longer lie under
Adam's sin, I would still feel a bond of compassion for all of Adam's
tragic race, and I am determined that I shall go down to the grave or
up into God's heaven mourning for the lost and the perishing. And thus
and thus will I do as God enables me. Amen
Verse
'Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell
into the hands of robbers?' The expert in the law replied, 'The one
who had mercy on him.' Jesus told him, 'Go and do likewise.' Luke
10:36-37
Thought
Good Samaritan living does not come naturally. We are afraid of
rejection, of being robbed ourselves, of being taken advantage of. But
intercession for those around will eventually result in reaching out
to them in Christ's name.
Prayer
O Lord, help me to see people, people around me, as You see them. To
pray for them. To reach out to them. To be a "Good Samaritan" to them.
I can't do it myself, I've tried. Change me, for Christ's sake.

The graceful dress of the Hindu woman is fastened upon her person by
means of a single knot. The long strip of cloth is wound around her so
that it falls in soft folds like a ready-made garment. The end,
however, is fastened by a little knot, and the whole thing hangs by
that single fastening.
So it is in the spiritual life; our habits of grace can be compared to
garments. It is also true that the garment of love, which is the
beautiful adorning of the child of God, is entirely fastened by little
nots.
If you will read First Corinthians chapter 13 with care, you will find
that most of the qualities of love are purely negative. Love . . .
envieth not, love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not
behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil. Here are "nots" enough to hold on our spiritual
wardrobe. Here also are reasons enough to explain the failure of so
many, and the reason why they walk naked, or with torn garments,
allowing others to see their shame. Let us look after the nots.
Scripture
Charity . . . doth not behave itself unseemly—1 Corinthians 13:5

Building others up through encouragement
January 10, 2012
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged
sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and
of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12
I heard about a vacuum cleaner salesman who was up in the hills of
Arkansas and was showing one of his vacuum cleaners from house to
house. So he got to one house on the backside of a mountain, and he
walked in at the invitation of a lady and said, "Ma'am, I guarantee
you this vacuum cleaner will suck up every piece of dirt on your floor
anywhere in your house."
Then he went over to the fireplace, got a bunch of ashes in his hands,
threw them on the floor, and said, "I'm so convinced that this vacuum
cleaner will suck up those ashes that I'll personally eat them with a
spoon if this vacuum cleaner won't do it!"
So the lady of the house said, "Well, you better start eating because
we ain't got no electricity in this house!"
Now, the Bible works because unlike that vacuum cleaner, it has all
the power it needs. And because of that, it brings the power of God to
our lives. Yet, many believers today are living a 'Bible-less'
Christianity. They want all the benefits of the Christian life, but
they're missing out on the greatest one of all: the wisdom and power
of God.
So as you walk with Christ, remember the powerful resource God's given
you in His Word and you'll tap into His never-ending resources!
THE BIBLE 'WORKS' BECAUSE IT HAS THE POWER OF GOD. SO AS YOU LIVE THE
CHRISTIAN LIFE, STAY CONNECTED WITH GOD'S WORD!
As the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without deeds is dead.

Divine Recompense
He that watereth shall be watered also himself. (Proverbs 11:25)
If I carefully consider others, God will consider me, and in some way
or other He will recompense me. Let me consider the poor, and the Lord
will consider me. Let me look after little children, and the Lord will
treat me as His child. Let me feed His flock, and He will feed me. Let
me water His garden, and He will make a watered garden of my soul.
This is the Lord's own promise; be it mine to fulfill the condition
and then to expect its fulfillment.
I may care about myself till I grow morbid; I may watch over my own
feelings till I feel nothing; and I may lament my own weakness till I
grow almost too weak to lament. It will be far more profitable for me
to become unselfish and out of love to my Lord Jesus begin to care for
the souls of those around me. My tank is getting very low; no fresh
rain comes to fill it; what shall I do? I will pull up the plug and
let its contents run out to water the withering plants around me. What
do I see? My cistern seems to fill as it flows. A secret spring is at
work. While all was stagnant, the fresh spring was sealed; but as my
stock Rows out to water others the Lord thinketh upon me. Hallelujah!
As the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without deeds is dead.

BLESSINGS FROM THE HEART

FRUSTRATION!
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as
the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be
afraid
My most recent frustration began early Saturday morning. I had just
returned from my exercise and sat down at the computer to check
messages. When I moved the mouse the screen went blank. I had lost the
power supply unit!
Fortunately I had my old computer in the closet and drug it out and
immediately discovered that much had changed—I spent hours trying to
get it up and running to a degree. Yesterday's Daily-E-Votional was
typed on the old computer. I lacked the addresses so I had to wait
until the new power supply unit was installed. Fortunately I have a
friend who did it overnight and he delivered it just before our
service started this morning. (Are you keeping up with this story of
frustration?) Then the repaired computer would not function and I
spent more hours trying to call my friend for help. I decided to look
at the back of the computer and saw a switch. I flipped it and guess
what… Power!
I must confess that the frustration of the past two days has occupied
a large part of my mind. (I do not have much to spare!) God gave us a
wonderful worship service today and I was able to counsel a few people
who had far more frustration in their life than I did.
The bottom line is this: According to today's Scripture, God promises
His wonderful peace. In the stormy times of life we are promised a
peace that passes understanding. We do not need to intellectualize it,
but to experience it. Thank you Lord!
Blessings dear hearts. Draw near to God today, trust Him completely
and be a blessing!

All for the Glory of God
"Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31
A great hindrance to the internal peace of our lives can be the habit
of dividing our lives into two areas, spiritual and temporal. Some may
separate these two parts of their lives and feel they are
shortchanging God when they must tend to their earthly duties. They
feel that God would much rather have them studying and being about His
business. But this approach leads to a divided instead of a unified
life, for the necessities of living compel us to be always crossing
back and forth from the one to the other. The Apostle Paul tells us
that every act of our lives contributes to the glory of God. The
knowledge that we are all God's, that He has received all and rejected
nothing, will unify our inner lives and make everything sacred to us.
It is not what a man does that determines whether his work is
spiritual or temporal, it is why he does it. Let a man sanctify the
Lord God in his heart and he can thereafter do no common act. All he
does is a priestly
service, an act of worship. So as we go forth this week, let us
remember that if we do all to His glory and honor, we worship Him with
our whole being.
Father, help us to live our lives as if they were an act of worship.
May all we do rise up to You and bring You glory and honor. Keep us
from compartmentalizing our lives and to worship You even in the
mundane chores that we find ourselves doing. Help us to do all to Your
glory and honor. Amen

You're Pre-PackedThere are diversities of activities, but it is the
same God who works all in all. I Corinthians 12:6
You were born pre-packed! God looked at your entire life, determined
your assignment, and gave you the tools to do the job!
You do something very similar before you travel. You consider the
demands of the journey and pack accordingly.
Cold weather? Bring a jacket. Business meeting? Carry the laptop.
Time with grandchildren? Better take some sneakers and pain medication!
God did the same with you. Joe will do research—install curiosity!
Megan will lead a private school—an extra dose of management.
I need Eric to comfort the sick—include a healthy share of compassion.
Denalyn will marry Max!—instill a double portion of patience.
Exodus 35:35 says: God has filled them with skill!
God packed you on purpose for a purpose!

Devotional For Dieters 1/10
January 10
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The stomach is a spoiled brat. When we miss even one meal, it kicks up
a fuss and makes us feel as though we're going to starve. Of course,
we're in no danger whatsoever, but once our stomachs get started, it
is hard to ignore them. To diet means to engage in mind over matter.
We need to realize that we can get by on a lot less food than we
actually eat. We need to renew our mind, change our thinking, and
decide that we're not going to be made a slave to our stomachs. We
resent it when someone else tries to control us. Why should we so
easily succumb to our own stomachs? When we refuse to be ruled by
anything but the Spirit of God, then we truly please Him.
Today's thought: God can liberate us from slavery to the stomach!

I watched the Denver Broncos win an astonishing victory over the

The Answer in the Mirror - #6522
Tuesday, January 10, 2012
Whether you're in your car, or in your home, or almost anywhere you
are right now, I think you probably have available to you what you're
going to need for our next few minutes together. Yeah, because you're
either near one or you might even carry one. Now, some people use this
object too much; other people could afford to use it a little more.
Maybe you've guessed what it is by now. Yep, it's a mirror, and you'll
need it today, because that's where we're going to end up.
I'm Ron Hutchcraft and I want to have A Word With You today about "The
Answer in the Mirror."
Now, our word for today from the Word of God will take us ultimately
to the mirror. In fact, it's found in Luke 15:17. If you're real
conversant with your New Testament, you might recognize Luke 15 as
being the home of that familiar story we call the Prodigal Son. And
you know in that story he had gone to his apparently well-to-do father
and said, "Dad, I'm restless. I don't know if I want to stay home
anymore. I wonder if you could give me my share of the inheritance,
and then I'm going to get this out of my system. I want to get out of
here. I know you didn't die yet, but could I have my inheritance?"
Now, I don't really know what was on his mind, and we don't know why
he wanted to leave. Maybe he was tired of the rules his dad had, and
then he had an older brother. Maybe he didn't get along with him. But
he went away, and the Bible says, "He went to a far country." So he
wanted to get far away. It didn't take him long to blow all his money.
He had a lot of friends as long as he had that money.
Then he lost his friends when he lost his "bucks." And he ended up
working for a pig farmer - the worst possible thing a Jewish boy could
end up doing would be feeding the pigs. But he was so desperate; he
had to do an un-kosher job. And here he said, "Boy, I wonder if my dad
would even take me back as one of his servants?" And there he is
sorting it out; trying to figure out, "How did I ever get in this
mess? How did I end up in a pig pen?"
Maybe for you, you're looking at your life and you're not in the pig
pen right now, but things aren't going right. You're restless, you're
feeling disoriented, confused, disappointed, there's a lot of
frustration that's built up over the last few months, maybe some
anger. You're really looking for some answers, and you're saying,
"Whose fault is it I'm in this mess?"
Luke 15:17 tells us the end of the Prodigal Son's search for the
answer. And in these simple words recorded in the King James Version
of the New Testament it says this: "And he came to himself." Now, I
know that means he came to his senses. But I think it also implies to
us that after he went down the list and he said, "Okay, it's not my
Father's fault. Okay, well let's see, if I didn't have that brother.
No, no, it's not my brother's fault. If my friends weren't so fickle.
No, I guess I can't blame my friends. If only I hadn't run out of
money; if I hadn't invested in the wrong thing, or if it weren't for
this boss who is giving me this crummy job."
Finally, after scratching off all the other causes, he ends up looking
in the mirror. I told you we'd come back there. It says, "He came
finally to himself." Maybe that's the first place you're going to
begin to find deliverance from your restlessness, your frustration.
You've got to look in the mirror and say, "Lord, I think I'm the one
who needs to be changed. I'm not going to blame it on my
circumstances, or the problem people in my life, or my wife, or my
husband, or my kids, or my parents, or the economy, a lack of
resources. It's not my brother, not my sister, but it's me, oh Lord,
standing in the need of prayer."
Every counselor's first job is to get a person to take the
responsibility for their own situation. Whether you're a parent, or a
son, or a daughter, or a worker, or a boss, I trust that you will
begin to say, "Lord, begin with me."
Look in the mirror. Offer what you see to the Father, and just like
the father of the Prodigal Son, He's going to clean you up and make
you look like royalty.
