Jagannatha Swami Nayan Pathagami Bhavatume
Jagannath (Sanskrit: जगन्नाथ Jagannātha) is a transcendental
non-anthropotheistic Hindu god. In common belief, Jagannath is
considered an aspect of the god Vishnu or avatar of Krishna and
worshipped as part of a triad along with brother Balabhadra deva and
sister devi Subhadra.
The principal image of the deity at the temple city of Puri in the
Indian state of Orissa, is made of wood, which is an exception to
common Hindu iconographic deities of stone.
Daru Brahma (supreme force manifesting in the form of Neem Tree wood
idols) carved out by traditional devotees with stricture rituals have
been transported from Puri, Orissa India, one of the four holy Hindu
Dhams. The American Hindu Association committee and the Oriya
community of Madison would like to dedicate a Prana pratisthapan
mahotsav of Four deities (Chaturdha Murti: Lord Jagannath, Lord
Balavadra, Devi Suvadra and Lord Sudarshan) on the 21st of January
2012.

Maha Prasad : 6:30 PM
Dinner Prasad will be served after Puja by volunteers.

Dear Devotees, AHA is organizing an AKHAND (non-stop) Ramayan Path
Recital that will start on Saturday January 28th @ 10 am and will
end on Sunday January 29th @ 10 am concluding with Rama PUJA. This is
a 24- hours recital of the whole Ramayan. The program details are as
follows:
