CROSSTALK : CONDUCT BEFORE AND AFTER
WHAT NEXT AFTER REFERENDUM ?
The country has been on long journey towards
getting a new constitution and Family Media has been following up on
the events as they unfold. It is now less than six days before the
country can decide if there will be a new constitution or not, the
August 4th referendum is being perceived as a defining moment for the
country. But despite all the pomp and colour, there is a flip side to
the whole constitutional debate. People are concerned of their welfare
before, during and after the referendum. What next for the country?
Will the country experience what it did in
2007/08?.................READ MORE.
ISRAEL TRIP
THE JOURNEY TO THE HOLY LAND
Have you always wanted to be part of history,
be in the same environmental setting as the history makers, and walk
the same path they did? Well it is possible. Family Media is in the
process of organising a once in a life time experience that will
forever remain in your mind. A trip that is exiting, educative and
inspirational. What else but a trip to Israel. Picture this, visiting
Jerusalem where Jesus was born with tour guides who will give you a
detailed history of the town, the tomb in which he was buried, and
what makes it even more exiting is the fact that you get to enter the
tomb and take photos, some of the biblical sights you only read of but
have no vivid idea of how they look like and walking where Jesus
walked. ...................READ MORE.

Word For The Day
Friday / July 29, 2010
"An argument started among the disciples as to which of them
would be the greatest. Jesus, knowing their thoughts, took a little
child and made him stand beside him. Then he said to them, "Whoever
welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever
welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For he who is least among
you all--he is the greatest." Luke 9:46-48
Jesus used a child to demonstrate the principles by which His
Kingdom operated. Those values would turn worldly standards upside
down. Jesus provided the greatest example. He served and honoured us,
unworthy sinners, by obeying God in suffering for us on the cross.
Greatness is measured in sacrificial service. So, one of the best ways
of showing friends and colleagues what following Christ means, is to
be humble enough to serve them and even to serve those people whom
they despise.
