"On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus.
"Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" "What
is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?" He answered:
"'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your
neighbour as yourself.'" Luke 10:25-27
Still today, most people think that if they do good things, then
God will be pleased and let them into His heaven. The problem is that
nobody can always do good and never any bad, so that sort of religion
is useless for giving us peace with God and a home in heaven. That is
why we all need a better way ... Jesus Christ!
