When I woke this morning, the lyric of "Standing on Holy ground"
filled my spirit. Whilst trying to recall the relevant scripture I was
reminded of the Lord's words and instructions to Joshua. The Lord
found him worthy to walk in Moses' footsteps, worthy to lead His
people to the Promised Land. We are also reminded of all the
inabilities which Moses had when he was called by God. He lack
standing amongst the people of Israel, he lacked confident speech and
above all he was a murderer. God who is omniscience saw in Moses the
potential to lead a nation. He saw the potential of an Exodus in
Moses.
Today I want us to be reminder that the Lord has called us on Holy
Ground. His Presence will go before us and we will be able to reach
our full potential, a potential of blessing and prosperity in Christ.
Prayer: Lord, place us on Holy Ground where we are able to clearly
hear Your voice and instruction. Place us on Holy Ground where Your
Presence comes upon us to strengthen, to guide and protect us. In
JesusMighty Name. Amen.

Scripture :
Acts 7:32-34 (New International Version)
32'I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob.'[a] Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.
33"Then the Lord said to him, 'Take off your sandals; the place where
you are standing is holy ground. 34I have indeed seen the oppression
of my people in Egypt. I have heard their groaning and have come down
to set them free. Now come, I will send you back to Egypt.'[b]

Some Sunday nights I would struggle to fall asleep. Why- because I
fear of what lies ahead for the week. The corporate world is very cut-
throat. So even if I am confident that I can perform the tasks at hand
and excel in all things (this is the confidence I have in my
abilities) I become anxious. This anxiety is a form of fear. Whilst
laying awake the Spirit called me to order saying "Fear the Lord your
God and only Him!!! What can men do to you? You are not trusting in
the Almighty Power of God". In my spirit He spoke 2 Tim 1: 7 "For God
did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love
and of self-discipline." I had to repent that I have fallen short of
His glory that I have sinned by being fearful and not trusting in His
divine power to carry me through. I had a good cry whilst repenting. I
rebuked the spirit of fear and there was a change from being fearful
to being at peace.
Prayer: Lord, fill me with your fearless Spirit . Guide me higher in
confidence and courage so that your glory can shine through me. Today
I declare that I fulfill the mighty thoughts -as written in Psalm 139-
that my Lord has about me. Amen.
