Outside a grocery store in Langdon, N.D., two ecologists spotted a yellow
canola plant growing on the margins of a parking lot this summer. They
plucked it, ground it up and, using a chemical stick similar to those in
home pregnancy kits, identified proteins that were made by artificially
introduced genes. The plant was GM—genetically modified. That's not too
surprising, given that North Dakota grows tens of thousands of hectares of
conventional and genetically modified canola—a weedy plant, known
scientifically as *Brassica napus var oleifera*, bred by Canadians to yield
vegetable oil from its thousands of tiny seeds. What was more surprising was
that nearly everywhere the two ecologists and their colleagues stopped
during a trip across the state, they found GM canola growing in the wild.
"We found transgenic plants growing in the middle of nowhere, far from
fields," says ecologist Cindy Sagers of the University of Arkansas (U.A.) in
Fayetteville, who presented the findings August 6 at the Ecological Society
of America meeting in Pittsburgh.

A University of Arkansas team surveyed countryside in North Dakota for
canola. Transgenes were present in 80% of the wild canola plants they found.
They suggest GM traits may help the plants survive weedkillers in the wild.
The findings were presented at the annual meeting of the Ecological Society
of America in Pittsburgh. "We just drew 11 lines that crossed the state [of
North Dakota] - highways and other roads," related research team leader
Cindy Sagers. "We drove along them, we made 604 stops in a total distance of
over 3,000 miles (5,000km). We found canola in 46% of the locations; and 80%
of them contained at least one transgene." In some places, the plants were
packed as closely together as they are in farmers' fields. "We found
herbicide resistant canola in roadsides, waste places, ball parks, grocery
stores, gas stations and cemeteries," they related in their Ecological
Society presentation. The majority of canola grown in North Dakota has been
genetically modified to make it resistant to proprietary herbicides, with
Monsanto's RoundUp Ready and Bayer's LibertyLink the favoured varieties.
These accounted for most of the plants found in the wild. Two of the plants
analysed contained both transgenes, indicating that they had
cross-pollinated.

the world, and climatologists are trying to figure out what to make of it.
From flooding in China to wildfires in Russia, strong winds in Australia to
stiffling heat in the United States, with waterspouts over Miami Beach,
Florida. It's the season of unusual weather. In Pakistan, floodwaters have
swallowed whole villages and killed 1,500 people. "It rained the whole day
and night. We did not sleep," said Mohammad Yaseen, a retired solder. In
China, torrential rains brought on the worst floods in a decade. Roads under
two meters of water. In Russia, weeks of record-breaking heat and little
rain are hampering efforts to extinguish wildfires. Flames surrounded and
nearly trapped this group of volunteers. Analysts say the world should be
aware of the consequences. "We pray to God day and night for rain to fall,
to change this weather. It is the only thing which can help us," said Igor
Vlaznev, a Russian firefighter... "Grain prices are going up. Food prices
are going to be going up," said Lester Brown, who is with the Earth Policy
Institute. So what is going on? Is it simply a coincidence that this
extreme weather is occurring at the same time worldwide. Or is it a warning
of catastrophic climate change?

Russia said it would ban grain exports until Dec. 1 due to a drought that
has destroyed more than 20% of its wheat crop. Prices retreated Friday but
still remain up 10% for the week. If prices resume their upward trajectory,
you could wind up paying 25% to 30% more for a loaf of bread and at least
10% more for a pizza by the end of August or early September, said Darin
Newsom, a senior analyst at Telvent DTN, an agriculture and commodities
information company. That would translate into a price hike of as much as 90
cents more for a $3 loaf of bread, and a bump of $1.40 for a $14
pizza."Wheat is moving up so much, there's going to be a ripple affect on
what we're seeing at stores and restaurants," said Newsom. "We haven't seen
it play out yet, but we certainly will."

Free condom machines would be planted in high schools across the nation as
part of a plan to tackle sexually-transmitted diseases and reduce the
abortion rate. Family Planning Victoria (FPV) is calling on the Federal
Government to fund contraception in Australia as a way of encouraging safe
sex and preventing unplanned pregnancies. FPV chair Sally Cockburn says
having free condoms in high schools would be the perfect start. "For year 11
and 12 I think that having a free condom vending machine in their common
room is a reasonable thing," she said. "I think it's time we all grew up and
realised that we need to protect our young people, not shove this sort of
stuff under the carpet. I would have loved this to have happened 10 years
ago, 15 years ago, but it's not too late and I call on both political
leaders to think about it very carefully and to support this." When asked
whether the condoms would also be available to students in younger grades,
Ms Cockburn said it was common knowledge that school children under the
legal age were having sex. "I don't think there is a specific age we're
going to put on this," she said.

Geoengineering would also kick in quickly—though you'd have to keep putting
the stuff up there if you wanted to keep having the climate payoff. It
wouldn't, Keith emphasizes, solve all the problems of climate change. For
instance, a planetary cooling would not do anything to counteract the
ongoing ocean acidification that is being driven by our carbon emissions.
Geoengineering doesn't make those emissions go away, it just makes the
planet chill down a little. Most of all, we don't really know the full range
of possible side effects—the unintended consequences. And we won't before we
use it. But if we're in a climate corner, we might just go ahead anyway. We
might think geoengineering is the best of our bad options. The presentations
by Leinen and Keith launched a broad ranging discussion, but sitting in the
room, there was a fundamental theme I couldn't stop thinking of—the
incredible gap between the importance of geoengineering as a possibility on
the one hand, and the complete lack of public awareness that it's even on
the table on the other.

human knowledge can be transferred to machine systems, Aptima and the
Cognitive Engineering Research Institute are developing MIMIC, the "Mixed
Initiative Machine for Instructed Computing," a capability for capturing and
conveying to UAVs the flight control and decision-making expertise lodged in
the heads of humans. MIMIC is being developed through a contract with the
Office of Naval Research (ONR), to help ONR to create a next generation of
intelligent UAVs that can operate more autonomously, allowing the UAV for
example, to infer mission threats and more quickly avoid adversary actions,
to self-launch or land, and to make necessary flight control decisions when
communications are disrupted, or the human operator's attention is divided
amongst several UAVs.

The Extraterrestrial is Not My Brother No Matter What the Vatican

The Vatican's chief astronomer, Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the Director of the
Vatican's Observatory, stated in a press release that "extraterrestrials are
our brothers." He continued that "believing that the universe may contain
alien life does not contradict a faith in God because aliens would still be
God's creations." He concluded that "ruling out aliens would put limits on
God's creative freedom."
I addressed the error of this viewpoint in an earlier article where I wrote
that the Bible says that man is the highest form of creation created in the
image of God Himself (Genesis 1:26-27). There cannot be any more advanced or
evolved creatures out there. If such entities are ever found, I will discard
my Bible but I'll bet on Pascal's Wager that it is better to believe that
God exists than not to believe. The entities out there are fallen angels,
demonic creations bent upon our destruction. With all due respect to Rev.
Funes, these fallen angels masquerading as extraterrestrials are not my
brothers but are instead henchman of Satan himself bent upon deceiving us as
to the upcoming plans of the Lord Jesus Christ.
As I have written many times before, the upcoming catching away (Rapture) of
the true followers of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) to escape the coming
Tribulation and apocalypse will be explained to those left behind as an
abduction by UFOs/aliens. Since the Vatican does not believe in the concept
of the rapture it has become a participant in the upcoming deception. To
call extraterrestrials our brothers only adds insult to injury.
"[This is] in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs
and false wonders. And with all the deception of wickedness for those who
perish because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
And for this reason, God will send upon them a deluding influence so that
they might believe what is false in order that they might be judged who did
not believe the truth and took pleasure in wickedness" (2 Thessalonians
2:9-12).
I discussed this relationship between the Vatican and the upcoming deception
beginning seven years ago in my first novel The Great Harpazo Deception: the
real story of UFOs.
While the main protagonist in my novel, Israeli and recent West Point
graduate Col.Judah Meier, gets involved with a group doing remote viewing
which makes contact with an extraterrestrial fallen angel, Azazel, there is
also a strong religious component to the story. There is a Harvard Divinity
School professor as well as a psychic and a remote viewer involved. I wanted
to show the influence of the Vatican and the Pope on this delusion, so I
researched this extensively and everything presented in the novel was based
on actual events. The fact that the Vatican welcomed aliens even back then
was not surprising since it also had welcomed other deceitful spirits.
"Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are
from God because many false prophets have come into the world" (1John 4:1).
Pope John Paul II had a gathering in Assisi, Italy in 1986 where 130 leaders
of the world's 12 major religions met to pray for peace. There were snake
worshipers and fire worshipers and spiritists and animists in attendance
along with witch doctors. This move towards what the Bible describes as the
one world end times religion (Revelation 17) concerned me and I had to work
it into my novel. When a Vatican theologian by the name of Balducci at about
the same time, came out with a book describing aliens as more evolved
creatures than humans and maybe angels but nevertheless all under God, I
knew that I was on to something.
Pope John Paul II stated at Assisi that "we are all praying to the same
God." He let the Dalai Lama replace the cross on the altar of St.Peter's
Church in Assisi with a statue of the Buddha. Pope John Paul II later
received the traditional Shiva mark on his forehead by a Hindu Shiva
Priestess. Pope John Paul II was not the first Pope to go down this road of
ecumenical suicide. In 1974, at the Second World Conference on Religion and
Peace held in Louvain, Belgium, Pope Paul VI issued the now infamous Louvain
Declaration:
"Buddhists, Christians, Confucianists, Hindus, Jains, Jews, Muslims,
Shintoists, Sikhs, Zoroastrians, and still others have sought here to listen
to the spirit within our varied and venerable religious traditions and we
have grappled with the towering issues that our societies must resolve in
order to bring about peace. We rejoice that the long era of defensiveness
and even prejudicial isolation of the religions of humanity is over and gone
forever.
"In later times, some will fall away from the faith paying attention to
deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons" (1 Timothy 4:1).
Interconnected amidst all of this talk of tolerance and acceptance of the
notion of many paths to God or to the notion of the existence of many gods,
is the inescapable belief that born again, Bible Believing so called
fundamentalist Christians are not accepting of this unity amidst diversity
and thus had to be removed from the earth so an evolution to a higher plane
of consciousness could occur. The rapture of these people to be with Jesus
in the clouds would be explained thusly as the removal of undesirables by
aliens in UFOs for re education. The Vatican does not believe in the concept
of the rapture and likewise many unknowing Catholic so called Christians
will not be raptured either. Thus the Vatican has become part of the problem
instead of the solution.
"Holding on to a form of Godliness although they have denied its power" (2
Timothy 3:5).
"I [God} never knew you. Depart from Me you who practice lawlessness"
(Matthew 7:23).
In 2001 there was a Millennial Unity Conference held sponsored by the
Vatican, the World Council of Churches and other liberal so called "non
judgmental" religious groups.
At a Conference on Religious Unity sponsored by the United Nations Global

Christians speak of the coming of the antichrist that will bring a false

All the religions of the world will be deceived as to the identity of this
deceiver. He will not bring true peace nor enlightenment but rather only
deception and death. He will be foreshadowed by fallen angels masquerading
as alien brothers who will try and explain the sudden disappearance of
millions of Christians as an abduction by UFO, extraterrestrial brothers for
re education in sensitivity and tolerance training. This deception has been

conglomerates, we are witnessing a homogenization and standardization of the
message that popular culture delivers. Through Narsha's video, young Koreans
are exposed to the same spiritual ritualism that young Americans witness
through Lady Gaga, Rihanna or Christina Aguilera. Throughout popular
culture, young people in America, the UK, Australia and Korea—and anywhere
else that gets MTV—are exposed to the same "trends," symbols and messages as
their idols transmit to their fans the Illuminati agenda in a strikingly
similar fashion: the same symbolism, color coding and hidden meanings are
inserted in the videos as if they've all emerged from the same blueprint.
The elite's New World Order aims, as its name implies, to cover the entire
world. To acheive this, the world's population must embrace the same
culture, the same values and the same messages. Who better than "clowns
trapped in a glass castle" to embed those messages in the minds of the

Modernization Act of 2010, may be the most dangerous bill in the history of
the US.
"If accepted [S 510] would preclude the public's right to grow, own, trade,
transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. It
will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and
consumption of food and agricultural products of one's choice. It will be
unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of
God." It is similar to what India faced with imposition of the salt tax
during British rule, only S 510 extends control over all food in the US,
violating the fundamental human right to food." ~ Dr. Shiv Chopra, Canada
Health whistleblower.
Monsanto says it has no interest in the bill and would not benefit from it,
but Monsanto's Michael Taylor who gave us rBGH and unregulated genetically
modified (GM) organisms, appears to have designed it and is waiting as an
appointed Food Czar to the FDA (a position unapproved by Congress) to
administer the agency it would create without judicial review if it passes.
S 510 would give Monsanto unlimited power over all US seed, food
supplements, food AND FARMING.
History
In the 1990s, Bill Clinton introduced HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical
Control Points) purportedly to deal with contamination in the meat industry.
Clinton's HACCP delighted the offending corporate (World Trade Organization
"WTO") meat packers since it allowed them to inspect themselves, eliminated
thousands of local food processors (with no history of contamination), and
centralized meat into their control. Monsanto promoted HACCP.
In 2008, Hillary Clinton, urged a powerful centralized food safety agency as
part of her campaign for president. Her advisor was Mark Penn, CEO of Burson
Marsteller*, a giant PR firm representing Monsanto. Clinton lost, but
Clinton friends such as Rosa DeLauro, whose husband's firm lists Monsanto as
a progressive client and globalization as an area of expertise, introduced
early versions of S 510.
S 510 fails on moral, social, economic, political, constitutional, and human
survival grounds.
1. It puts all US food and all US farms under Homeland Security and the
Department of Defense, in the event of contamination or an ill-defined
emergency. It resembles the Kissinger Plan.
2. It would end US sovereignty over its own food supply by insisting on
compliance with the WTO, thus threatening national security. It would end
the Uruguay Round Agreement Act of 1994, which put US sovereignty and US law
under perfect protection. Instead, S 510 says:
COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS.
Nothing in this Act (or an amendment made by this Act) shall be construed in
a manner inconsistent with the agreement establishing the World Trade
Organization or any other treaty or international agreement to which the
United States is a party.
3. It would allow the government, under Maritime Law, to define the
introduction of any food into commerce (even direct sales between
individuals) as smuggling into "the United States." Since under that law,
the US is a corporate entity and not a location, "entry of food into the US"
covers food produced anywhere within the land mass of this country and
"entering into" it by virtue of being produced.
4. It imposes Codex Alimentarius on the US, a global system of control over
food. It allows the United Nations (UN), World Health Organization (WHO), UN
Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the WTO to take control of
every food on earth and remove access to natural food supplements. Its
bizarre history and its expected impact in limiting access to adequate
nutrition (while mandating GM food, GM animals, pesticides, hormones,
irradiation of food, etc.) threatens all safe and organic food and health
itself, since the world knows now it needs vitamins to survive, not just to
treat illnesses.
5. It would remove the right to clean, store and thus own seed in the US,
putting control of seeds in the hands of Monsanto and other multinationals,
threatening US security. See Seeds How to criminalize them, for more
details.
6. It includes NAIS, an animal traceability program that threatens all small
farmers and ranchers raising animals. The UN is participating through the
WHO, FAO, WTO, and World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) in allowing
mass slaughter of even heritage breeds of animals and without proof of
disease. Biodiversity in farm animals is being wiped out to substitute
genetically engineered animals on which corporations hold patents. Animal
diseases can be falsely declared. S 510 includes the Centers for Disease
Control (CDC), despite its corrupt involvement in the H1N1 scandal, which is
now said to have been concocted by the corporations.
7. It extends a failed and destructive HACCP to all food, thus threatening
to do to all local food production and farming what HACCP did to meat
production put it in corporate hands and worsen food safety.
8. It deconstructs what is left of the American economy. It takes
agriculture and food, which are the cornerstone of all economies, out of the
hands of the citizenry, and puts them under the total control of
multinational corporations influencing the UN, WHO, FAO and WTO, with HHS,
and CDC, acting as agents, with Homeland Security as the enforcer. The
chance to rebuild the economy based on farming, ranching, gardens, food
production, natural health, and all the jobs, tools and connected
occupations would be eliminated.
9. It would allow the government to mandate antibiotics, hormones,
slaughterhouse waste, pesticides and GMOs. This would industrialize every
farm in the US, eliminate local organic farming, greatly increase global
warming from increased use of oil- based products and long-distance delivery
of foods, and make food even more unsafe. The five items listed the Five
Pillars of Food Safety are precisely the items in the food supply which are
the primary source of its danger.
10. It uses food crimes as the entry into police state power and control.
The bill postpones defining all the regulations to be imposed; postpones
defining crimes to be punished, postpones defining penalties to be applied.
It removes fundamental constitutional protections from all citizens in the
country, making them subject to a corporate tribunal with unlimited power
and penalties, and without judicial review.

Big business controls American food on nearly every level. In most cases,
the effects on our health are merely questionable, but one specific set of
circumstances is endangering human life in general, and American life in
particular: the genetically-modified plant world. There are many elements
to the story, from the corporate to the judicial to the biological.
It all started with a 1980 Supreme Court case, Diamond v. Chakrabarty,
wherein the Court determined that living organisms could be patented. This
led to the US Patent Office deciding five years later (in a case called Ex
parte Hibberd) that the Supreme Court's decision could be applied
specifically to the seeds of sexually reproducing plants. That decision was
unique in that it allowed the seeds' patent-holders to prevent anyone else
from using the seeds for research or agricultural purposes.
The upshot of this is that today, if you plant seeds that are patented, you
are not legally allowed to take the seeds from your own plants and replant
them. You have to repurchase your seeds from their owner company every
growing season. When a particular kind of seed becomes popular (such as
Monsanto's 'Roundup Ready' corn, which you can spray Roundup all over
without harming), the company has complete control over how much you pay.
Monsanto, of course, is vicious about protecting its patent, to the point of
suing farmers out of business if they don't purchase the corn, on the
assumption that they are using it by getting the seeds illegally. (God
forbid someone would want to just grow plain old corn!) Even if the
farmers' cases go in their favor, Monsanto can and will spend hundreds of
millions of dollars prolonging the court case just so that the legal fees
alone will bankrupt a farmer on their blacklist. By so doing, they're
slowly weeding out all of the farmers that dare to not buy their products at
their grossly inflated prices.

till early Monday, the Iranian official made it clear that Tehran would not
tolerate the deal Assad concluded with Saudi king Abdullah to pull away from
- or even reduce - Syrian relations with Hizballah.
Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has clearly taken charge of the
Lebanese situation. He is maintaining control through two top officials kept
standing by in Beirut and Damascus as Nasrallah prepares to accuse Israel of
assassinating Rafiq Hariri, four-time prime minister of Lebanon, in February
2005.
This is the gambit Nasrallah is using to blackmail the Hariri government by
a threat of civil war and/or a military confrontation with Israel into
disbanding the UN special tribunal and so avoid surrendering indicted
Hizballah leaders to the court.
With Tehran ranged solidly behind him at the highest level, the Israeli,
Lebanese and Syrian war planners have put their armies, along with Hzballah,
on the ready for trouble.
Iran made sure border tensions remained high after Lebanese army snipers
killed an Israeli officer in a clash last Tuesday, Aug. 5. As
debkafilereported at the time, a group of Iranian intelligence and
commando officers
Friday openly toured the South Lebanese-Israeli borders and studied Israeli
positions, making sure they were seen on the Israeli side.
They are still present at Hizballah's forward positions.
Sunday, Lebanese foreign minister Ali Al-Shami flew to Tehran to appeal for
help in toning down the ultimatum posed by Nasrallah for Prime Minister Saad
Hariri to disband the special tribunal established by the UN and Lebanon to
probe his father's murder and instead accuse Israel before the UN Security
Council. Al-Shami maintained that this move would break up Lebanon's unity
government and open the gates to a recurrence of civil warfare and fighting
with Israel.
His appeal to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad fell on deaf ears. Instead,
Jalilee was put on a special plane to Beirut to strengthen the Hizballah
leader's hand. This was clear from his remark: "The power of resistance and
unity of the Lebanese Army does not let the Zionist regime to even cut a
tree. Earlier, the Zionist regime could advance to the borders of Beirut
fearlessly. Today the Zionist army gets a strong response from Islamic
Resistance…"
His words meant that, for Tehran, the Lebanese Army's 9th Battalion is no
longer a separate, autonomous entity but integral to Hizballah and a partner
in its radical mission.

strategy called for the armies of Lebanon and Syria to become proxy armies

had a classic guerilla plan by which to defeat the Americans, a plan which
naturally ended with an attack on Israel.

Iranian proclamation includes the armies of Iraq and Afghanistan in its list
of countries whose armies are allied with Iran in this great struggle
against the armies of the West. For Iran to identify Iraq and Afghanistan as
part of her allied armies means that Iran believes she has won the wars in
those countries. As of right now, the population of most Western countries
does not believe that Coalition Forces have lost these wars to local
insurgents; however, that concept will change rapidly once Iraq begins to

the force behind the assassination. To accuse Israel now would only serve to

recognizes only marriages between a man and a woman.

Can you imagine the gall of this Cardinal when he ignored the mountains of
gay immorality of its clergy so he could focus on the much smaller societal
problem of gay marriage? While I do not know the exact statistics, I do know
that 98% of all priests in Rome are gay, as we reported in an article last
week. I do know that over 75% of all Catholic seminary students are gay, as

Furthermore, since the Catholic Church occupies the most important national

North Korea has been acting belligerently ever since South Korea completed
her annual naval and air exercises with American forces in the region. Every
year, North Korea reacts belligerently to these exercises, usually calling
them "tantamount to a declaration of war".
"Tensions have remained high since late March, when North Korea torpedoed a
South Korean military ship on patrol near the naval border, killing 46
crewmen aboard. Although a South Korean-led investigation of the incident
has pinpointed North Korea as responsible for the sinking, Pyongyang has
denied any involvement."
What is significant about these escalating tensions in the Korean Peninsula
area is that they are occurring at the same time as tensions are escalating
in the Middle East. As soon war breaks out in the Middle East, North Korea
will begin to ratchet nuclear war tensions against South Korea and the West.

Christian converts sent back to evangelize in North Korea
Like most North Koreans, Son Jong-nam knew next to nothing about
Christianity when he fled to neighboring China in 1998. Nearly 11 years
later, he died back in North Korea in prison, reportedly tortured to death
for trying to spread the Gospel in his native land, armed with 20 Bibles and
10 cassette tapes of hymns. He was 50.
His story, pieced together by his younger brother, a defector who lives in
South Korea, sheds light on a little-discussed practice: the return of North
Korean converts to evangelize in their home country - a risky move, but one
of the few ways to penetrate a country that bars most citizens from outside
TV or radio and the Internet.Forty Years in the Amazon Jungle
Little is known about the practice, thought to have started in the late
1990s.
Missionaries won't say how many defectors they have sent back to North
Korea, citing their safety and that of the defectors.
"It's their country, where people speak the same language. They know where
to go and where to escape," said the Rev. Isaac Lee, a Korean-American
missionary in Seoul who has dedicated his life to spreading Christianity in
the North. "But I agonize a lot whenever I have to send defectors to the
North, as I know what kind of punishment they would get if arrested."
Officially, North Korea guarantees freedom of religion for its 24 million
people. In practice, authorities crack down on Christians, who are seen as
Western-influenced threats to the government. The distribution of Bibles and
secret prayer services can mean banishment to a labor camp or execution,
defectors say.
