Russia plans to go ahead with its sale of advance anti-ship rockets, state
news agency RIA Novosti quoted Russian Defense Minster Anatoly Serdyukov as
saying on Friday, despite recent attempts by U.S. and Israeli officials to
thwart the planned deal. The deal involves the sale of advanced P-800
Yakhont supersonic cruise missiles to the Syrian military, weaponry which
Israel considers as capable of posing significant danger to its navy vessels
in the Mediterranean Sea.

Global warming loons are at it again – despite the science behind man-made
climate change being completely discredited by the Climategate fiasco and
with increasing numbers of Americans skeptical about AGW, mad scientists at
the Carnegie Institution are using taxpayer money to lay the groundwork for
injecting the atmosphere with dangerous compounds which are known to cause
debilitating health problems and could lead to massive droughts and famines.
Alarmists are once again trying to play God in a bid to solve an imaginary
climate crisis based around their own fraudulent belief system, fully aware
of the fact that the consequences of their actions will likely kill off
millions in the third world, people who they see as nothing more than
"useless eaters".
Based around the madcap method of "injecting aerosols of sulfate into the
stratosphere" to produce "a global sunshade," researchers at the Carnegie
Institution's Department of Global Ecology have been running advanced trials
on how to distribute artificially added sulfates to the atmosphere in the
name of cooling the planet.
"The Carnegie scientists ran five simulations using a global climate model
with different sulfate aerosol concentrations depending on latitude. They
then used the results from these simulations in an optimization model to
determine what distribution of sulfates would come closest to achieving
specified climate goals. They then tested these distributions in the global
climate model to assess how well the climate goals were met," states a press
release about the

One of the main authors of the study was Ken Caldeira, the man who told a
conference of fellow warmists earlier this year that it would be a good idea
to make the emission of CO2 an illegal

Presumably, that would include the very process of breathing since all
humans exhale carbon dioxide. That's right – the man tasked with playing God
with the environment thinks breathing should be criminalized.
But it gets worse – Caldeira is an advisor for and is being funded by Bill

thinks that old people should be killed to save teaching

and the man who says that vaccines which his foundation bankrolls to the

bring CO2 emissions down to a level approaching zero.
This gaggle of Dr. Strangelove characters, people like White House science
czar and geo-engineering enthusiast John Holdren, the man who advocated
forced sterilization, mandatory abortion, and drugging the water

are now tinkering with the planet in pursuit of their barbaric eugenicist
agenda.

have a gang of elitists who have publicly stated their intent to use the
threat of global warming and overpopulation as a justification for killing
and sterilizing people, and we're giving them free reign with taxpayer money

Injecting the atmosphere with sulfate aerosols is a completely insane,
untested and dangerous proposal.
Rutgers University professor Alan Robock has warned that such experiments
"could create disasters," damaging the ozone layer and potentially altering
the stratosphere by eliminating weather patterns such as the annual Asian
monsoon rain season, which 2 billion people rely upon to water their crops
and feed the population.
"Imagine if we triggered a drought and famine while trying to cool the
planet," Robock told a geo-engineering

However, when you consider the fact that the global warming mantra is a thin
veil for eugenics and population

population being unable to eat, in fact they would probably see that as a
bonus.

enough to mothball taxpayer funded research into the idea.

Fred Singer, president of the Science Environmental Policy Project and a
skeptic of man-made global warming theories, warns that the consequences of
tinkering with the planet's delicate eco-system could have far-reaching
dangers.
"If you do this on a continuous basis, you would depress the ozone layer and
cause all kinds of other problems that people would rather avoid," said
Singer.
Even Greenpeace's chief UK scientist – a staunch advocate of the man-made
global warming explanation – Doug Parr – has

to geo-engineer the planet as "outlandish" and "dangerous".
Stephen Schneider of Stanford University, who

bizarre plan to send spaceships into the upper atmosphere that would
be
used to block out the Sun, admits that geo-engineering could cause
"conflicts between nations if geo-engineering projects go wrong."
As we have previously highlighted, discussions regarding the possibility of
"geo-engineering" the earth's climate to counter global warming by "shooting
pollution particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect the sun's rays"
have stoked fresh concerns that similar programs are already underway, and
that chemtrails are directly connected to such experimentation.
Chemtrails differ from ordinary contrails in that they hang in the sky for
hours and are often observed to be emitted from planes that fly criss-cross
routes, leading to the formation of 'X' and grid-like patterns in the sky.
Chemtrails also directly effect localized weather by turning a clear blue
sky into a hazy overcast.
In 2008, a KSLA news

that a substance that fell to earth from a high altitude chemtrail
contained high levels of Barium (6.8 ppm) and Lead (8.2 ppm) as well as
trace amounts of other chemicals including arsenic, chromium, cadmium,
selenium and silver. Of these, all but one are metals, some are toxic while
several are rarely or never found in nature. The newscast focuses on Barium,
which its research shows is a "hallmark of chemtrails." KSLA found Barium
levels in its samples at 6.8 ppm or "more than six times the toxic level set
by the EPA."
KSLA also asked Mark Ryan, Director of the Poison Control Center, about the
effects of Barium on the human body. Ryan commented that "short term
exposure can lead to anything from stomach to chest pains and that long term
exposure causes blood pressure problems." The Poison Control Center further
reported that long-term exposure, as with any harmful substance, would
contribute to weakening the immune system, which many speculate is the
purpose of such man-made chemical trails.

numerous universities and government agencies have been conducting studies
in the field of geo-engineering for years.
In addition, the Obama administration's interest in exploring
"geo-engineering" mirrors recent publications penned by the elite Council On

In a document entitled Geoengineering: Workshop on Unilateral Planetary
Scale Geoengineering <http://www.cfr.org/project/1364/geoengineering.html>,
the CFR proposes different methods of "reflecting sunlight back into space,"
which include adding "small reflecting particles in the upper part of the
atmosphere," adding "more clouds in the lower part of the atmosphere," and
placing "various kinds of reflecting objects in space either near the earth
or at a stable location between the earth and the sun."
The proposals in the CFR document match exactly the atmospheric effects
observed in the aftermath of chemtrail spraying.
On the face of it, the idea of artificially poisoning the atmosphere with a
substance known to cause massive health problems and one that many
environmentalists say will lead to crippling droughts and famines, is a
complete over-reaction to combating climate change which has naturally
occurred for eons before man ever set foot on the planet. Add to that the
fact that the people proposing, funding, and researching the issue are all
avowed eugenicists who have been vocal in their mission to enact draconian
measures of population control and the true scope of what we're dealing with
is clear – an effort by control freaks whose sole interest is not about
caring for the planet but hijacking well-placed concerns about the
environment as a vehicle through which to enforce their putrid cocktail of
death and tyranny.

Egypt nabs Hamas security chief Mohammed Dababesh
debkafile reports exclusively that Egyptian security detained Hamas' head of
security Mohammad Dababesh at Cairo international airport Friday, Sept. 17,
the first high-ranking Palestinian held for questioning by Egyptian
security. It is not clear whether Dababesh was on his way back to or from
the Gaza Strip. Our sources report that he is no doubt being grilled on the
Grad missile attack launched against Eilat and Aqaba from Sinai on Aug. 3,
in which two Egyptian border posts were destroyed.
He is senior enough in Hamas to have been in on that incident and
knowledgable about the West Bank cells responsible for murdering four
Israelis near Hebron on Aug. 30 and injuring a couple at the Rimonim
junction two days later. The Egyptian authorities may therefore have acted
to nab Dababesh on a tip-off from Israel.
debkafile reported earlier Friday, that a joint Israeli military-Shin Bet
unit raided the Nur a-Shams camp in the West Bank town of Tulkarm and killed
Iyad Assad Ahmad Abu Shalbaya, identified as deputy chief of the West Bank
Hamas network responsible for those murders.
This was Israel's first major operation against known Palestinian terrorist
chiefs in some years. It was carried out after Palestinian security forces
failed to catch up with the perpetrators.
Shalbaya was caught in the dragnet the IDF and undercover units have cast
across the northern and southern West Bank areas since early this week to
thwart the wave of terror Hamas threatened for the purpose of derailing
talks with the Palestinians and hitting Israel over the Jewish Yom Kippur
festival which begins Friday night.
The Palestinians claim Shalbaya was killed in his bed. The Israeli army
spokesman reports he was shot as he ran toward them in a threatening manner
and refused to stop.
His chief, Banshath al-Karmi, 34, of Hebron, is actively sought along with
the Hamas cells preparing to strike in the next 24 hours, according to the
latest intelligence input. Jerusalem appears to be a particular target. From
Thursday night, Sept. 16, measures have been in place to keep bomb cars out
of the capital, including a ban on the movement of vehicles from the Arab
sector of East Jerusalem to the Israeli city as of Friday.
debkafile's military sources add that time will tell if Israel's
counter-terror operations have been effective in stalling Hamas' plans or,
just the opposite, galvanized Hamas into more extreme action, either on the
part of their hidden West Bank cells in which the terrorist group invested
great efforts, or in the form of another missile barrage from the Gaza Strip
to follow the assaults of this week.
Shin Bet Director Yuval Diskin warned the Israeli cabinet session Sunday,
Sept. 12 that the Hamas military arm Izz-e-din al-Qassam had given all its
teams strict orders to go all-out in order to bring about the collapse of
the Israel-Palestinian talks begun at Sharm el-Sheikh on Sept. 13.
Our sources disclose that Hamas' West Bank commander, Al-Karmi, was arrested
by the IDF in 1999, a year before the Palestinians launched their suicide
killers' war on Israel. He was held for three years. Shortly after his
release in 2002, he was picked up again and held in administrative detention
for three months.
In 2004, he was shot and seriously injured during an IDF operation in Hebron
and restricted to a wheel chair for a long period. Nonetheless, Al-Karmi has
always been the live wire of Hamas' organs of terror on the West bank. Last
year, he was appointed commander of the new clandestine network Hamas set up
in the territory.

ENTEBBE, Uganda - African Anglican bishops voiced their strong disapproval
of homosexuality at a meeting Tuesday attended by Archbishop of Canterbury
Rowan Williams, as the issue continues to divide Anglicans.
"Homosexuality is incompatible with the word of God," said conference host
and Ugandan Archbishop Uganda Henry Luke Orombi.
"It is good Archbishop Rowan is here. We are going to express to him where
we stand," he added.
Head of the Anglican church worldwide, Williams is struggling to keep the
communion together amid disagreements over the ordination of female bishops
in Britain, and of openly gay bishops in the United States.The Homosexual
Agenda
"There is already a break. It doesn't need to be announced," said Orombi.
Williams delivered a sermon Tuesday at the opening of the six-day meeting,
the first of its kind since 2004.
While he did not mention homosexuality, he said it was the duty of all
bishops to be open-minded on contentious issues.
However the head of the Council of Anglican Provinces in Africa left little
doubt that his position on the matter is settled.
"Today, the West is lacking obedience to the word of God," Reverend Ian
Ernest of Mauritius told journalists on the sidelines of the conference.
"It is for us (Africans) to redress the situation," he said, adding that he
has severed all ties to the Episcopalian churches in Canada and the United
States that have allowed gays to enter the clergy.

[TBC: The effort to discredit the Bible is nothing new. Neither is it a new
thing that some in evangelical churches are joining the battle against the
sure word of Scripture. Consider this excerpt from an article by Pastor J.W.
Garvey, originally published February 11, 1893 and addressing those who
would deny that Moses wrote Leviticus.]
If we take the Pentateuch as an example, it would certainly make no
difference as to its intrinsic value, whether it was written by Moses, or by
some other writer equally competent. But suppose we say with these critics,
that it was written by men who lived from seven to nine hundred years after
the time of Moses, and who were therefore from seven to nine centuries
farther removed from the time of the events; would that make no difference?
Well, even that would make no difference, if these writers were inspired
with a miraculous knowledge of the events concerning which they write; but
this is denied by the critics, and it is stoutly affirmed that they knew
only that which had come down to them in oral and written traditions.
Furthermore, it is boldly affirmed that these writers wrote many things
which are not historically true. It becomes, then, a very serious question,
how we shall regard the Old Testament books, if we accept the dates assigned
to them by these gentlemen. I propose to discuss the question in this
article with respect to one of the least important of all the books for
either instruction or edification under the Christian dispensation. At
least, it is generally so regarded, though it would be easy to show that it
is of far more present value than most men suppose. I mean the Book of
Leviticus.
This book sets out in its first sentence with the claim that the laws which
it contains were given by God to Moses at the tent of meeting: "And Jehovah
called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tent of [16] meeting,
saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them." It closes
with these words: "These are the commandments, which Jehovah commanded Moses
for the children of Israel on mount Sinai." Thus, in its first and in its
last sentence, it asserts that its contents came from God through Moses to
the children of Israel.
Now, if our critics are correct, every one of these statements, soften and
mollify the assertion as you may, is a falsehood; and the writer or writers
who, in the midst of the Babylonian captivity, wrote this book, set these
statements down knowing them to be false. This is admitted by the critics.
They say that it was not considered, in that age, immoral to attach a great
name to a book or an ordinance in order to give it weight with the people,
which otherwise it would not have. In other words, the religious writers of
that day, the men who wrote the Bible, did not think it was wrong to lie in
order to gain for their writings credit and veneration to which they were
not entitled. This is not surprising when we hear it from Graf, Wellhausen,
Kuenen, and other avowed rationalists; but what shall we think of that class
of critics who, after espousing this theory, still reiterate that the
writers of Leviticus were "inspired men"? Do they mean, inspired with a
lying spirit sent out from the Lord, as in the case of Ahab's false
prophets? No. Inspired, they say, by the Spirit of God; that Spirit whose
title is "The Spirit of Holiness," "The Spirit of Truth." Well, if the
writers of Leviticus did not know that it was wrong to lie, the Holy Spirit
did; and it seems to me a very near approach to the sin against the Holy
Spirit of which the Pharisees were guilty, to assert that these writers were
inspired, and then say that much which they wrote was false, and known to be
false when they wrote it.
Quite different from the view of Leviticus, held by these scholars, is that
held by our Saviour. To the first leper whom he healed, he said: "Go thy
way, show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing the things
which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them" (Mark 1:44). The
directions referred to are found in the fourteenth chapter of this Book of
Leviticus. Jesus here ascribes it to Moses, and he treats the law cited as
one still to be enforced. And if this law of the leper was from Moses, so we
must suppose the whole book to have been, unless there are some parts which,
for special reasons, must be otherwise regarded. Again, when Jesus was
called on by a lawyer representing a body of Pharisees, to declare which was
the greatest commandment in the law, he gave the first in a quotation from
the Book of Deuteronomy (6:5); and the second, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor
as thyself," he took from the Book of Leviticus (19:18). Whom shall we
credit with correct knowledge on the subject, Jesus our Lord and Saviour, or
our modern destructive critics?

This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report'
On this week's edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report," I'll begin a two-part
series on my favorite book of the Bible: The Gospel of John. Not to worry,
I'm not going to rush through the entire Gospel during the next two weeks.
Instead, this week I'm going to examine its most important chapter -- in
fact, I believe it's the most important chapter in the Bible -- John 3. Next
week, we'll study what I believe to be the most important verse in the
Bible: John 3:16. It is a summary of the very heart of all that the Bible is
seeking to say.
I first presented this series at the end of 2008. Since then, many of you
have written to request that we air it again.
As we emerge from the 'dog days of summer' and barrel toward this fall's
general election, it seems like the heat is cranked up everywhere. But it's
not just the weather that's sizzling. It seems a lot of things are on the
verge of crashing and burning: our economy, our government, foreign affairs,
and the list goes on.
During these times of great uncertainty and stress, I think it's wise to
step back and refocus on the most important things in life -- our families,
our health, our freedoms, our blessings, and our personal relationship with
Jesus Christ. It's amazing how our perspective can be brightened when we
think on these things. There's nothing that compares to the encouragement of
remembering that "God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting
life."
Enjoy the waning days of summer and the happy prospects of eternal life with
our Lord and Savior made possible because "God so loved...." Don't miss this
