Revelation 13 sets forth the most disturbing, troubling, yet thorough
depiction of the Antichrist and the system he will reside over in all of
scripture. John writes, And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a
beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his
horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. [Rev. 13:1 KJV]
There are a couple different thoughts as to who exactly is standing on the,
"sand of the sea." The King James Version uses the personal pronoun, "I"
indicative of the one standing here as John. This is perfectly consistent
with the fact that throughout the book John is writing that which he
observes. The other thought is that some ancient manuscripts and
translations like the Vulgate and Syriac have it as, "He" which would
connect this to the last verse of chapter 12. In this case it is the
"Dragon" who brings the "Beast" up out of the sea. The pronoun, "I" is used
some 165 times in Revelation. I believe it refers to John here, as again he
is the one being shown the Revelation and the one writing the written record
of that which he is shown.
"Sea" in biblical imagery refers to the mass of humanity or nations. It
would more specifically refer to the region around the Mediterranean Sea, as
this is the area from which the "Beast" system as well as the "Beast"
himself will arise. We are introduced here to both a system as well as
anindividual who are yet to be revealed. The system will be the final world
power that will arise at the final three and a half years of the Great
Tribulation, the individual is the one referred to variously in the Bible
as, "The Assyrian" [Isa. 10:4, 24], "The son of perdition" [2 Thess. 2:3],
"The king of Babylon" [Isa. 14:4], "The little horn" [Dan. 7:8, 24; 8:9,
23], "King of fierce countenance" [Dan. 8:23], "The king of the North" [Dan.
11:5 – 45], "The man of sin" [2 Thess. 2:1 – 12], "The Antichrist" [1 John
2:18], and of course "The Beast" as in Daniel 7:11 and right here. This
"beast" corresponds to Daniel's fourth nondescript beast in Daniel 7.
As we pointed out last time in reference to the Dragon, the "seven heads"
refer to the seven nations or Empires who have or will stand against Israel
and the Jewish people, six of which have come and gone, one that is yet to
form, which will be some sort of global government system. It will not be
the final system, that is reserved for the ten-nation confederacy headed by
the Beast, symbolized here by the "ten horns." The "ten crowns" are the ten
leaders who will give their power to the beast eventually uniting with him
to fight Christ at Armageddon. All of this is yet to come, even though it is
forming even now. The "names of blasphemy" on the heads of the beast point
to this being the most evil, antichrist, anti-god system the world has ever
known.
John writes, And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet
were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the
dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. [Rev. 13:2
KJV] The beast system will have characteristics of past Empires. It will
have characteristics of Greece (Leopard), Medo-Persia (bear), and Rome
(Lion). Beside all of this his authority and power will come directly from
the Dragon himself. Having been cast to the earth and knowing that his time
is short, Satan will indwell the antichrist as no man before or no man
since.
This next verse has been sensationalized and dramatized to the point that
its meaning has been largely lost to many Evangelical Christians. The
conventional thought goes like this, at the mid-point of the Great
Tribulation the Antichrist will be assassinated, and his body will lie in
State for three and a half days, after which time Satan will raise the
Antichrist from the dead. This will cause the world to wonder after the
Beast and will cause multitudes to worship him as Messiah. I have heard many
well-known Bible teachers put forth this interpretation, I used to teach it
myself. In all fairness, I can see how some could see this meaning. It
simply is not what the verse is teaching. In saying that I realize that is
quite a statement, however I believe it is true. How do we know that this is
not an assassinated Antichrist being resurrected? 1) – This would mean Satan
has the power to raise the dead – Even though his power is great, he does
not have the power to raise the dead. The power to raise the dead, the
righteous and unrighteous, belongs solely to the Lord Jesus Christ. [See
John 5:28, 29] 2) The speculation that has surrounded this passage renders
it improbable – Those who have believed John refers to an assassinated
Antichrist down through the centuries have said Nero, Judas Iscariot, Adolph
Hitler, etc. would rise in the Last Days to lead this beast system. All of
this speculation gives further credence in my opinion to the rejection of
the "wounded head" being healed applying to the future Antichrist. 3) It
ignores the plain meaning of the text – John does not say, "His head was
wounded and his deadly wound was healed." No, he says, And I saw one of his
heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all
the world wondered after the beast. [Rev. 13:3 KJV]
Remember, the beast John sees rising up out of the sea of Gentile nations
has, "Seven heads." Oneof those heads appears to be mortally wounded, but
then is healed and comes back on the scene. Think about all of the past
Empires who have persecuted the Jews. Egypt, while still existing as a
nation is no longer the mighty Empire it was in the days of the Pharaohs.
What about Assyria? It eventually fell and was assimilated into other
nations. The once mighty Babylon is no more, although several have tried to
raise it back up from the ash heap of history. Medo-Persia and Greece are
both long forgotten as great Empires. Only one of the past Empires has never
really died, although it appeared to, but has lived on in the European
nations, and of course I refer to Rome. The Roman Empire, at least in part,
is destined to be revived in the time of the end. It should be noted however
that this Beast System is all about mixture. Therefore we probably shouldn't
refer to it as theRevived Roman Empire, but as the revised Roman Empire. Why
do I say that? Because it will have characteristics of past Empires. I'm
telling you, the world has never seen a military/political monster as this
system will be. This idea of mixture is also seen in Nebuchadnezzar's dream
which Daniel interpreted. You will recall the feet of the great image. The
feet symbolized the final Empire that would arise at the time of the end.
Daniel stated, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that
a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that
were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. [Dan. 2:33b, 34] This final
Empire will have the strength of the iron but will be weakened through
mixture. Notice the 35th verse,
Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to
pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors;
and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the
stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole
earth. [Dan. 2:35] The word, "together" indicates that elements of all past
Empires will be united in this revised Roman Empire. No wonder all the world
wondered after the beast. The good news is that the Beast system will be
brought down and utterly destroyed by the return of the King of kings and
the Lord of lords! It will be replaced by the Kingdom of God. John
continues,
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they
worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to
make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great
things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and
two months. [Rev. 13:4, 5 KJV] Satan will get his proverbial, "fifteen
minutes of fame" during this time. Make no mistake, he craves worship. He
attempted to usurp the authority of God and receive the worship and
adoration that only belong to God in eternity past. He will carry this
failed quest out until the very end. He has a limited time to carry out his
plan. He will only be allowed to continue, "forty and two months, or three
and a half years.
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and
his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to
make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over
all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth
shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the
Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him
hear. [Rev. 13:6 – 8 KJV] In his hateful rage, the Beast, empowered and
indwelt by Satan; will begin to hurl blasphemy against God and against those
who dwell in Heaven. That is the Church folks. To be honest, I don't
understand how anyone can read the book of Revelation and then state that
the Church will be present on the earth during the Great Tribulation. To be
sure there will be saints present on the earth whom the Beast will make war
with and overcome and kill, but they are not the Church. They would be
individuals who have come to saving faith after the catching away of the
Church. Please notice the phrase, And it was given unto him to make war with
the saints, and to overcome them. This is indicative of permission being
granted, for a limited time, to the Beast to make war with the saints and
overcome them. We must understand that the devil can do nothing to a
believer, to a child of God, without the permission of our Heavenly Father.
Ancient spirits who ruled the past Empires of history will come forth to aid
and abet this final despot in his quest for world domination. However, even
though he will be allowed power (Gr. Exousia – Authority or superhuman
ability) over all kindreds, tongues, and nations; he will not be successful
even though he will come close. We know for example that Edom, Moab, and
Ammon escape the Antichrist, and quite possibly prepare the place of refuge
for Israel during the intense persecution they will face in the final three
and one-half years of the Great Tribulation. [See Dan. 11:41] This is again
where many see Petra as the place of refuge in the wilderness.
Even though the buzz phrase of today is tolerance for all and of every
belief system, there will be no tolerance for any religion other than demon
worship that will be cloaked in worship of the Beast during this period of
time. All those whose names have not been recorded in the Lamb's Book of
Life from the foundation (Gr. Katabole – Founding, conception) of the world
will fall for the lie and worship the Beast.
If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall
go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the
sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. [Rev. 13:9, 10 KJV]
Those who have their "ears" tuned to hear the Word should hear. Hear what?
Hear the message that the Spirit is bringing forth here. All have ears, but
not everyone hears. That is, not everyone hears the Word of God. Not all are
receiving the Lord's message. It has been this way since the fall of
mankind. It will be this way until the very end. The Holy Spirit gives a
word of encouragement to whose who will inhabit this planet during the Great
Tribulation. He gives a word to those who will come to faith following the
rapture of the Church and consequently face the wrath of the Beast. It is
simply this, "Those who are presently leading you into captivity, are
destined for captivity themselves. Those who are killing you with the sword,
are destined to be killed with the sword themselves." John records that this
is, the patience and the faith of the saints. This is what the saints who
live on the earth at this time will be called to. Endurance with faith and
patience, knowing that Jesus will Return to defeat the forces of Antichrist
and reign forever, thus ending their misery and suffering of the Tribulation
hour.

Galileo The Astronomer, The Christian

"The notion that Galileo's trial was a conflict between science and
religion should be dead. Anyone who works seriously on Galileo doesn't
accept that interpretation anymore." - Historian Thomas Mayer.
Galileo's trial before the Roman Inquisition in 1632-33 has long been used
as an example of a scientist persecuted by religious zealotry. Those who
promote the idea that science and religion are at enmity like to bring up
Galileo's unfortunate treatment at the hands of the Roman Catholic Church.
However, there is much more to the story than the neat and tidy picture of
Galileo as a martyr for science and reason. Not only was Galileo himself a
devout Catholic throughout his life, but his trial was far more about his
insulting the Pope directly than it was about whether Earth actually moved
around the Sun.
In 1632, the already famous astronomer Galileo Galilei published his
Dialogue Concerning The Two Chief World Systems, a wildly popular book that
launched Galileo into the hands of the Inquisition. To better understand
that trial and the controversy surrounding it, however, a bit of background
is appropriate.
Ptolemy and Copernicus:
About the year AD 150, the brilliant astronomer and mathematician Ptolemy
published his famous workAlmagest. Using Aristotle's physics (not the
Bible), Ptolemy argued for a geocentric model of the universe. Ptolemy's
Earth was immoveable, and the Sun and stars revolved around it. He had some
mathematical barriers in the way, but he made use of complicated epicycles
to make his geocentric model work.
Ptolemy's geocentric model reigned supreme in astronomy circles until the
16th century. In 1543, Copernicus published a thick, mathematical book
called On The Revolutions Of The Heavenly Spheres, which made the case that
the Earth and stars, in fact, revolved around a stationary Sun. He still
depended on epicycles like Ptolemy, just a fewer number of them. Copernicus
was not a pop science writer. His book was written for astronomers and not
the general public, and so it didn't make many waves at the time.
According to surviving class notes, the young Galileo taught Ptolemaic
astronomy to his students at the University of Pisa and later at the
University of Padua just as the other scientists of his time did. He didn't
know any better until 1608, when he got his hands on an elementary telescope
– an "optic tube" as he called it. Galileo did not actually invent the
telescope, but he devised one and modified it, and he used it with
determination.
The Telescope Discoveries:
Galileo's instrument was a crude thing with a narrow field of view that only
magnified celestial objects for him between 3x and 30x as he made
improvements. Yet, in 1609, Galileo made eight important discoveries, many
of which he published in his 1610 book Starry Messenger:
-Sun spots were part of the surface of the sun (contradicting
Aristotle's idea that celestial bodies were perfect and changeless).
-The moon was not a smooth surface made of a celestial substance as
Aristotle had taught but in fact had mountains and rough surfaces just like
Earth.
-Venus had phases, just like the moon, which would make sense if it
orbited the Sun (and not Earth).
-Saturn had "ears" - later discerned as its famous rings.
-Stars were more distant than planets.
-There were stars in the cosmos that were invisible to the naked eye.
-The Milky Way was made of stars.
-Jupiter had moons, and so Earth was not the sole center of the universe
as the Aristotelians claimed.
These were fantastic discoveries. In his journal, Galileo wrote, "I render
infinite thanks to God for being so kind as to make me alone the first
observer of marvels kept hidden in obscurity for all previous centuries."
Galileo was not a particularly righteous and holy man. He had three children
by a woman he never married, and while his ambition earned him a place with
the most esteemed people of his day, his inflated ego eventually got him
tangled up in court. At the same time, Galileo gave God constant credit for
the greatness of His creative powers and glory. He marveled at God's power
and the honor that had been given him in being able to see things which had,
until then, hung beyond humanity's reach.
Galileo and the Scriptures:
Unlike Copernicus' Revolutions, Galileo's Starry Messenger sold widely and
he quickly became famous. He was not hauled into Rome for his discoveries,
but was in fact well received. He made a shrewd political move and named
Jupiter's moons the "Medicean planets" after the Medici dukes of Tuscany. He
was given the position as the duke's mathematician and philosopher, which
freed him up to stop teaching and devote himself to researching and writing.
The Roman Catholic Church didn't have an official position on the orbiting
habits of celestial bodies just yet. Galileo was warmly received in Rome
after his book was published. The Jesuits welcomed him, and he had several
friendly visits with the Pope.
As brilliant and driven as he was, Galileo made the error of developing a
significant arrogance, and he had no difficulty humiliating those who
disagreed with him. He had a great talent for satire, and he made quite a
few enemies through his sardonic wit.
One morning at the palace during breakfast, the duke's mother, Princess
Christina, the Grand Duchess of Tuscany, upset everything. She made a
comment that the Bible said the earth stood still and the Sun moved, rather
than the other way around. Galileo wrote the Grand Duchess a letter,
explaining that he believed the Bible, interpreted correctly, would match up
with science. He went on to offer his position that the Bible said so little
about the heavens and their movement, that clearly God wasn't concerned with
teaching astronomy through His Word, and it was not a salvation issue:
"Since the Holy Ghost did not intend to teach us whether heaven moves or
stands still, whether its shape is spherical or like a discus or extended in
a plane, nor whether the earth is located at its center or off to one side,
then so much the less was it intended to settle for us any other conclusion
of the same kind. And the motion or rest of the earth and the sun is so
closely linked with the things just named, that without a determination of
the one, neither side can be taken in the other matters. Now if the Holy
Spirit has purposely neglected to teach us propositions of this sort as
irrelevant to the highest goal (that is, to our salvation), how can anyone
affirm that it is obligatory to take sides on them, and that one belief is
required by faith, while the other side is erroneous?...I would say here
something that was heard from an ecclesiastic of the most eminent degree:
'That the intention of the Holy Ghost is to teach us how one goes to heaven,
not how heaven goes.'"
Galileo then declared he was able to offer an interpretation of Scripture in
light of what his scientific discovery had showed him. He suggested, for
instance, that when Joshua told the Sun to halt in the sky, that the Sun did
indeed halt in its rotation, to which he believed the motion of the planets
and moon were connected. When the Sun halted, so did the entire system,
allowing the day to lengthen accordingly as the Scriptures said.
The First Trial:
This letter got Galileo into trouble. The Church had said at the Council of
Trent, in response to the Reformation, that common people were not permitted
to interpret scripture; that was the job of the Church hierarchy. As
Galileo's letter to Princess Chrstina became public, Galileo's enemies
pounced. His years of satire had ruffled too many feathers. They wrote to
the Inquisition and demanded that he be investigated. The Pope asked the
theologians to decide exactly what the scriptures said about the matter. Was
the Sun the center of the world and immoveable, and did the Earth spin on
its axis and revolve around the Sun?
In 1616 the Roman Catholic Church declared Ptolemy to be correct. The Pope
had Galileo instructed not to teach the heliocentric theory of Copernicus
and sent him home. The index of prohibited books banned all books that
treated Copernicusism.
For 16 years, Galileo cleared away from the debate. Then, in 1632, Galileo
published his famous Dialog Concerning the Two Chief World Systems. A new
Pope was in Rome, Pope Urban VIII, a personal friend of Galileo, and Galileo
kept him up on the progress of his new book.
When it was published, however, the Pope was in for a shock. The book, which
became a best seller, was written as a discussion between three characters
discussing the heliocentric versus geocentric models of the universe, and
the character who supported the Ptolemaic position was named Simplicio – the
"simpleton". Those who supported the Ptolemaic side were described as
"imbeciles" "dumb idiots" and "people who are too stupid to recognize their
own limitations." At one point, the Pope's own words were spoken by
Simplicio, which did not please the proud Pope. The book was banned, which
only increased its popularity among the delighted masses.
The Second Trial
Galileo had made a miscalculation. He was called before the Inquisition and
asked whether he'd written the offending book and was asked whether in 1616
he had been given an injunction to not promote Copernicus. Galileo defended
himself sloppily, saying that he presented both sides of the issue in his
book, and he did not believe he had trespassed the terms of the 1616
precept. The trial focused on determining the exact wording of the 1616
injunction and whether Galileo had violated it.
In the end, Galileo claimed that his satire had actually been written to
defend Ptolemy. He declared that he did not hold the opinion of Copernicus.
The court did not buy it, and Galileo was sentenced to life in prison.
Galileo could have been tortured and imprisoned and burned at the stake, and
he was quite aware of these possibilities. Instead, the Pope intervened –
having made his point – and 69-year-old Galileo was kept under house arrest
(including the houses of wealthy friends).
At his trial, Galileo insisted, "My only error was in my ambition in trying
to appear smarter than everybody else."
Interpretation and Church Power:
Galileo's trials were therefore not the pitting of religion against science,
but about the Roman Catholic Church's desire to exert its power, about
whether a common man was permitted to interpret the Bible outside of the
official Church or insult those in authority. Galileo never rejected the
Bible, but in fact repeatedly affirmed its true purpose and the intention of
the Holy Spirit as true and good.
Galileo remained throughout his life dedicated to the God who created the
Heavens and the Earth.
"When I consider what marvellous things men have understood," Galileo wrote,
"what he has inquired into and contrived, I know only too clearly that the
human mind is a work of God, and one of the most excellent." (Poupard,
Cardinal Paul. Galileo Galilei,1983, p. 101.)

Fukushima is now far and away the worst nuclear disaster in all of human
history. Chernobyl was a Sunday picnic compared to Fukushima and the amount
of cesium-137 released at Fukushima this year so far is equivalent to 168
Hiroshima bombs. The crisis at Fukushima is far, far worse than you have
been told. We are talking about multiple self-sustaining nuclear meltdowns
that will not be fully contained for years. In an attempt to keep people
calm, authorities in Japan (and around the rest of the world as well) have
lied and lied and lied. Over the months that have passed since the disaster
began, small bits of the truth have slowly started to come out. Authorities
are finally admitting that the area immediately surrounding Fukushima will
be uninhabitable indefinitely, and they are finally admitting that the
amount of radioactive material that has been released is far higher than
initially reported. It is going to take the Japanese years to fully contain
this problem. Meanwhile, Fukushima will continue to blast all of us with
high levels of cesium, strontium and plutonium and will slowly kill millions
of people around the globe for years to come.
These days, the mainstream media does not talk about Fukushima much. The
reality is that there have been a whole lot of other disasters for them to
talk about.
But just because Fukushima is a nightmare that is playing out in very slow
motion does not mean that it does not deserve our full attention.
To get an idea of just how nightmarish Fukushima has turned out to be, just
consider the words of nuclear expert Steven C. Jones….
By way of comparison, the Chernobyl nuclear disaster that occured in
1986 in the Ukraine, Russia- heretofore the worst nuclear disaster on
record- burned for 10 days and cumulatively killed an estimated 1 million
people worldwide. The Fukushima, Japan nuclear disaster has 5 nuclear
reactors burning, 2 in partial meltdown and 3 in full meltdown- and they've
ALL been uncontrollably burning since March 11th. Its been over 3 months and
this nuclear disaster remains completely out of control. In fact, some
industry estimates cite the possibility that these meltdowns will be
contained (optimistically) in 1-3 years, at the very earliest.
The amount and intensity of the radioactive fallout from this particular
nuclear disaster will assuredly kill hundreds of millions of people
worldwide over time. Japan itself is, of course, the epicenter of this
radioactive contamination that has spread out from these reactors.
Keep in mind that radioactivity from the Chernobyl disaster deeply
contaminated77,000 square miles.
So if Fukushima is many times worse, what does that mean for us?
Just recently, authorities in Japan confessed that the amount of cesium-137
released by Fukushima is equivalent to 168 of the nuclear bombs that were
dropped on Hiroshima. The following is a brief excerpt from a recent
article inthe Telegraph….
Japan's government estimates the amount of radioactive caesium-137
released by the Fukushima nuclear disaster so far is equal to that of 168
Hiroshima bombs.
I am no nuclear expert, but shortly after the Fukushima disaster began I
postulated that much of northern Japan would be rendered uninhabitable by
all of this radiation.
Well, it turns out that authorities in Japan have finally reached the same
conclusion. According to the New York Times, the Japanese government is
acknowledging that large areas around the Fukushima nuclear facility may be
uninhabitable for decades….
Broad areas around the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant could
soon be declared uninhabitable, perhaps for decades, after a government
survey found radioactive contamination that far exceeded safe levels,
several major media outlets said Monday.
So what is the big deal?
Unfortunately, most people do not have any concept of just how dangerous
nuclear contamination can be.
At this point, the vast majority of people living in the northern hemisphere
have been exposed to radioactive material from Fukushima.
We can't see them, but radioactive particles can do an insane amount of
damage. We can breathe them in, we can eat them in our food and we can even
absorb them through our skin. Once trapped inside our bodies, these
particles can slowly "bake" us for years and years. The following is from
an opinion piece by Helen Caldicott in the Guardian….
Internal radiation, on the other hand, emanates from radioactive
elements which enter the body by inhalation, ingestion, or skin absorption.
Hazardous radionuclides such as iodine-131, caesium 137, and other isotopes
currently being released in the sea and air around Fukushima bio-concentrate
at each step of various food chains (for example into algae, crustaceans,
small fish, bigger fish, then humans; or soil, grass, cow's meat and milk,
then humans). [2] After they enter the body, these elements – called
internal emitters – migrate to specific organs such as the thyroid, liver,
bone, and brain, where they continuously irradiate small volumes of cells
with high doses of alpha, beta and/or gamma radiation, and over many years,
can induce uncontrolled cell replication – that is, cancer. Further, many of
the nuclides remain radioactive in the environment for generations, and
ultimately will cause increased incidences of cancer and genetic diseases
over time.
One of the most dangerous radioactive elements being released at Fukushima
is strontium. Strontium accumulates in the bones and in the teeth. It is
also known to cause cancer in humans.
It has been estimated that approximately 80 percent of the strontium that
was released during the Chernobyl nuclear disaster entered the food cycle.
Considering the vast amount of strontium that has been released at
Fukushima, that is a very frightening statistic.
The following is what NHK World recently had to say about the levels of
strontium that are being found around Fukushima….
The utility detected up to 480 becquerels of radioactive strontium 90
per kilogram of soil. That's about 100 times higher than the maximum reading
recorded in Fukushima Prefecture following atmospheric nuclear tests carried
out by foreign countries during the Cold War era.
TEPCO reported detecting 2,800 becquerels of strontium 89 per kilogram
of soil at the same location.
Once you absorb strontium, it will stay in your bones for the rest of your
life. Just consider what Dr. Russell Blaylock recently told Newsmax….
When we look at Chernobyl, most of West Germany was heavily
contaminated. Norway, Sweden. Hungary was terribly contaminated. The
radiation was taken up into the plants. The food was radioactive. They took
the milk and turned it into cheese. The cheese was radioactive.
That's the big danger, the crops in this country being contaminated, the
milk in particular, with Strontium 90. That radiation is incorporated into
the bones and stays for a lifetime.
So would you like to have radioactive material in your bones that affects
your health for the rest of your life?
It may have already happened to you and you wouldn't even know it.
Other deadly radioactive elements that are being released at high levels at
Fukushima include iodine, cesium, uranium and plutonium. Large amounts of
these radioactive particles have already been absorbed in the soil and in
the water in the United States.
Large amounts of these radioactive particles have also entered our food
chain.
As the years go by, a whole lot of Americans are going to get sick and die
and they will never even know that it was Fukushima that caused it.
Remember, just because you cannot see these radioactive particles does not
mean that they aren't incredibly deadly. Just check out what nuclear

To give one an example of how lethal radiation is, one pound of
plutonium evenly distributed into everyone's lungs would kill every man,
woman and child on Earth. There are literally "tons" of radioactive
plutonium (among other radioactive elements) that have been released into
the air and ocean environments since March 11th. Another critical fact to
remember is that radioactive plutonium, for example, remains lethal (killing
life) for thousands years as it has a half-life of 24,000 years. Some other
radioactive elements such as uranium have a half-life of 4.47 billion years.
That is the scary thing with many of these radioactive elements. Now that
they have been released, many of them will be with us for as long as we
live, for as long as our children live and for as long as our grandchildren
live.
Yes, things are much worse than you have been told.
Up until now, the Japanese government has insisted that those living outside
the 20 kilometer exclusion zone are safe.
But is that really the case?
According to Reuters, Greenpeace has found incredibly high levels of
radiation at schools up to 60 km away…..
Greenpeace said on Monday that schools and surrounding areas located 60
km (38 miles) from Japan's tsunami-hit nuclear power plant were unsafe for
children, showing radiation readings as much as 70 times internationally
accepted levels.
In addition, a recent Japan Times article noted that high levels of cesium
have been discovered at 42 incineration plants in seven different
prefectures in Japan….
High levels of cesium isotopes are cropping up in dust at 42
incineration plants in seven prefectures, including Chiba and Iwate, an
Environment Ministry survey of the Kanto and Tohoku regions shows.
Also, a recent article in the Wall Street Journal stated that incredibly
high levels of cesium-137 have been found up to 100 km away from the
Fukushima nuclear facility….
The first comprehensive survey of soil contamination from the Fukushima
Daiichi nuclear plant showed that 33 locations spread over a wide area have
been contaminated with long-lasting radioactive cesium, the government said
Tuesday.
The survey of 2,200 locations within a 100-kilometer (62-mile) radius of
the crippled plant found that those locations had cesium-137 in excess of
1.48 million becquerels per square meter, the level set by the Soviet Union
for forced resettlement after the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, Japanese
authorities said.
Remember that Tokyo is only about 250 km away from the Fukushima nuclear
facility.
So what happens if high levels of cesium start showing up in Tokyo?
According to some sources, things have already gotten very serious in Tokyo.
Dr. Chris Busby recently traveled to Japan with some very sophisticated
testing equipment and found one sample in Tokyo that had levels of
radioactivity that were higher than the exclusion zone surrounding Chernobyl
during that nuclear disaster.
But things are much worse for those living much closer to Fukushima. High
levels of cesium have been detected in the urine and in the breast milk of
those living in the region surrounding the facility. All over the area
there are reports of people coming down with the symptoms of radiation
sickness.
The truth is that the "evacuation area" should be far, far larger than it is
now. Just consider what Mike Adams of Natural News recently had to say
about what recent tests have shown….
One soil sample taking 25 kilometers away from Fukushima showed
Cesium-137 exceeding 5 million becquerels per square meter. This level, of
course, makes it uninhabitable by humans, yet both the Japanese and U.S.
governments continue to downplay the whole event, assuring their sheeple
that there's nothing to worry about. By their logic, since all the people
are sheeple anyway, as long as the area is safe enough for sheep, it's also
safe enough for the human population.
A lot of people in Japan are going to die, and frustrations are rising.
According to an article in The Independent, a lot of Japanese feel totally
abandoned by their government at this point….
It is the fate of people outside the evacuation zones, however, that
causes the most bitter controversy. Parents in Fukushima City, 63km from the
plant, have banded together to demand that the government do more to protect
about 100,000 children. Schools have banned soccer and other outdoor sports.
Windows are kept closed. "We've just been left to fend for ourselves," says
Machiko Sato, a grandmother who lives in the city. "It makes me so angry."
But just because you don't live in Japan does not mean that you are not in
danger. The Fukushima nuclear facility sits right on the Pacific Ocean.
When nuclear material gets released into the air at Fukushima, the first
time much of it will encounter land is when it reaches the United States.
Also, thousands upon thousands upon thousands of tons of highly radioactive
water has been released into the Pacific Ocean at Fukushima.
What this is going to do to our oceans nobody knows for sure. But according
to the Los Angeles Times, the seawater near Fukushima has been found to be
incredibly radioactive….
Tokyo Electric Power Co. had said Tuesday that it had found iodine-131
at 7.5 million times the legal limit in a seawater sample taken near the
facility, and government officials instituted a health limit for
radioactivity in fish. Other samples were found to contain radioactive
cesium at 1.1 million times the legal limit.
All of this radioactive water is going to circulate all over the globe. It
is going to be a nightmare that is never going to end.
Just because the mainstream media is not talking much about all of this
radiation does not mean that it is not affecting the United States….
*Radiation from Fukushima has been detected in seaweed in Puget Sound.
*Radiation from Fukushima has been detected in the drinking water in
numerous states.
*Radiation from Fukushima has been discovered in milk in numerous states.
*Very high levels of radiation continue to be detected in rainwater in the
northwest United States.
This is a slow motion nightmare that is going to play out for years and
years.
Some nuclear experts claim that it could be up to 50 or 100 years before any
of the nuclear material at the Fukushima complex will cool down enough to be
removed from the facility.
Right now there is no viable solution to what is going on at Fukushima, so
it will continue to blast all of us with high levels of radiation and will
slowly kill millions of people around the globe for years to come.
Former nuclear industry insider Arnold Gundersen recently put it this way….
"With Three Mile Island and Chernobyl, and now with Fukushima, you can
pinpoint the exact day and time they started," he said, "But they never
end."
This is a nightmare that will be with us for the rest of our lives.
Millions are going to get sick and untold numbers of people are going to
slowly die.

Egypt's tanks stand idle against terrorists
The Cairo media's highly colored accounts Monday, Aug. 30 of 1,500 Egyptian
commando and tank supposedly raiding Jihad Islami and al Qaeda cells in
Sinai are pure fiction, debkafile's military sources confirm. Israeli forces
along the Gazan and Egyptian borders down to Eilat have been forced to stand
for a week at the highest level of preparedness since receiving word that a
large group of terrorists had left the Gaza Strip for Sinai on Aug. 24 bent
on another attack on southern Israel. The Egyptian army, for its part, is
sitting on is hands as the jihadists take up assault positions on its side
of the Sinai border.
The group set out from Gaza the day after the head of the Jihad Islami
missile and logistics chief Ismail al-Asmar died in a targeted Israeli air
strike on the car he was travelling in Rafah.
Israelwent on high terror alert on Aug. 25. Its leaders have repeatedly
warned since then that Israel is fully prepared to respond swiftly if
attacked.
Tuesday night, the IDF's Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz said: "Hamas
and the other terrorist organizationsin Gaza had better realize that if they
harm Israeli citizens we shall hit them hard. Testing our strength would be
a mistake."
Tuesday, Home Front Minister Mattan Vilnai cited information that the at
least 10 terrorists were in Sinai getting set to strike southern Israel.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak for letting it be known that the coming
Palestinian raid was liable to be bigger than the coordinated highway
attacks just north of Eilat of the Aug. 18, in which gunmen shot eight
people dead. Limited Israeli reprisal then against Gazan terrorist targets
brought forth a 150-missile barrage from Gaza against locations within its
constantly expanding range.
For the loss of its logistics chief, the group decided it was not satisfied
with heavy missile assaults and plotted a "quality operation" from Sinai.

With the military on the verge of allowing gay men and lesbians to serve
openly, Army and Air Force officials have approved the distribution of a
magazine targeting gay service members at bases starting next month.
OutServe Magazine will hit store shelves at Army and Air Force bases on
Sept. 20, the day the Pentagon plans to formally end enforcement of the
"don't ask, don'tI tell" policy that bans gays from serving openly. Once the
nearly two-decade-old ban ends, gay men and women serving in military
uniform will be able to reveal their sexual identity without fear of
dismissal or official rebuke, openly gay men and women will be able to
enlist in the military, and gay couples may be allowed to wed at military
chapels or live together on military bases in states that recognize same-sex
marriages.

A two-year study of graduates from Catholic, Protestant and home schools
found the choice of private education, when compared to public education,
had significant effects on the students' academics, civics and faith – but
not necessarily the effects one might expect. For example, the study found,
the adjusted net effect on students of private, Catholic schooling versus
public schooling was to produce graduates even less likely to believe in
moral absolutes, to respect the authority of the Catholic Church, to believe
in the infallibily of Scripture or to condemn premarital sex. The study also
discovered, for example, that "the stereotypical picture of the highly
political right-wing Protestant Christian is false," finding that graduates
of Christian schools are less engaged in politics than their peers, as
measured by talking less about politics, participating less in campaigns and
donating less to political causes.

Rev. Klaas Hendrikse, a minister in the mainstream Protestant denomination
in the Netherlands doesn't believe in life after death, nor even in God as a
supernatural being. He told the BBC that he has "no talent" for believing
historic and orthodox doctrines. "God is not a being at all," he says, but
just an experience. Furthermore, as Pigott reports, "Mr. Hendrikse describes
the Bible's account of Jesus's life as a mythological story about a man who
may never have existed, even if it is a valuable source of wisdom about how
to lead a good life." All this is familiar, at least in general terms, to
anyone who has been observing mainline Protestantism — in either the United
States or Europe — for the last half-century or more. The central doctrines
of Christianity have been sidelined and hardly mentioned, then revised, and
finally rejected. As even some conservatives left in the church recognize,
if the church continues in the way the liberals are changing it, it is
spiritually and theologically dead already. The new religion of
"somethingism" is not a form of real Christianity. It is a cult religion
meeting in historic Christian church structures.

maintain that at all cost, and God will fulfill His purpose through your
