Wed. night (3/31/10) on the Charlie Rose show there were two quantum
physicists, Lisa Randall from Harvard and Kyle Canmer from N.Y. Univ.
They both are doing research at the Large Handron Collider in
Switzerland on super small particles that are emitted when two protons
crash head on. It is theorized that these particles were the first
things produced when the Big Bang occured. But what is interesting is
these small particles don't have mass. So these two physicists
question how the particles form mass when they come together forming
atoms. They say there must be something "out there" that provides the
energy or the power to form mass - an additonal entity that they
haven't been able to find.
Spirituality has contended for centuries that everything is connected
by energy and what one body does eventually affects all others in some
way and sometime in the future.
