Some dates discussed are wrong some are right, yet gives glimpse on
our heritage...
The talk and the TV program of Sri. Cho Ramaswamy is in Tamil but he
covers a great deal of Veda, Upanishad, Itihasa and Purana quotes (in
Samskrit) relevant to the topic - who is a Brahman /Bramin (the caste
& varna) - he also quotes from Old Tamil verses of Thiruvalluvar,
Devaaram saints, Alwar saints (old vishnavites) of Tamil Nadu. Such TV
programs that cover depths of Sanatana Dharma are never seen and not
even heard in Hindi channels - all we have is one Mahabharatam which
portrayed the story well but the depths of Sanatana Dharma was
completely ignored. The Producers cared about the popularity and money
making than the nuances of our Dharma. (Bharatam panjmo vedah) If Sri.
Cho Ramaswamy was born in North he could very well be a Baba by now.

I think it may be worthwhile for every Indian to learn Samskrit so
that many misconceptions and superstitions can be overcome.

I request you to read this slowly and leisurely... THIS IS NOT URGENT
BUT IMPORTANT (least in my view !)
We have been following news items (what is been force fed to us one
after the other by the corporate controlled media) about...
Cabinet reshuffle
Toothless Lokpal tabled in Parliament
Rahul's yatra
Mumbai blasts and blame game between Cong & NCP
Yeddy's removal
No confidence motion in Parliament
CWG - Shiela's involvement
Modi vs Muslim drama - replayed Again and again
Briton's riots
Next 3-6 months news I'm giving you now: - World economy nosedives,
Disappearance some Western Bank, Cricket failure, Again petrol price
increase and useless debates, More evidence on 2G / CWG - debates,
Arrest of Dhayanidhi maran, Large scale environmental violations, IPL,
Rahul vs Maya 10th part of the same drama, Train derailment and
following debate on safety, FBI expose on some Pakistani Army person's
terror link and our people's I told you so debates, Obama's India
visit and some nostalgia, Terrorism strikes Europe again, Pakistan
bomb blasts, Kashmir protests, Supreme court pulling Central Govt.for
the 1000th time in the past 5 years, Stock market crash, Swiss bank
A/c holders names leaked again & again followed up with debates and
denials, Debates on which social worker is an RSS agent or not, One
more cabinet reshuffle, Some new opinion poll showing that Rahul
should be PM by 45% of people between the age group 2-to-91 in survey
of covering 50,000 all over India with a population of 120 crores,
Some state election results and endless debates based on the results,
and all News channels claiming that they are first cover these events
etc...
Now I'm claiming that I'm the first to tell you this - but what is the
use ?? - does any of this so called news in anyway improve your
livelihood or improve your day-to-day decision making ?? - if this not
going to do anything to you "email reading educated person" then how
it can for a common man who is not so privileged ?? [to dope them a
whole new world of media exists with different focus details below]
Can't everyone see a pattern emerging and we are simply watching the
cycle repeating again and again and again- are we watching or sucked
in to this giant cycle ?
When there is no news then news channels bring politicians who would
argue heatedly about Pakistan's
anti-India activities (and do nothing about it) and conveniently
forgetting the terrorist breeding ground created by our own politicians
with Pseudo secularist policies and vote-bank politics. If we strictly
implement
the law and order and ban all the anti-national organisations like SIMI
and restrict black money flow to anti-social elements we can prevent 90%
of the terrorist activities in India - but no political will - We
need Courts to instruct police to even file a FIR against people like
Arundati Roy who would been jailed in any other democracy.
News coverage hotter than ever, even live about one event after the
other and heated debates - people are led to believe that the are
getting "Real news" and are up to date on the happenings. Most of
these news are useless and the debates can only ignite our BP.
The above is far the so called Educated and English news watching
affluent class and middle-class of India
For those who are not so privileged we have vernacular press and TV
channels feeding plenty of news - Eg: Arrests of some ex-ministers
/MLAs in TN, Verbal duel between Yeddy and Kumarasamy in Karnataka,
Populist schemes by Mamta in Bengal, Police officer kidnapping in
Chatisgarg, Temple wealth debate in Kerala, Telengana in Andra,
Cricket body elections in Maharashtra, Buddha park in UP, etc.
Honestly think for a movement - Does any one of this event and their
coverage as a news item makes any
difference to the common man in India who is part of 70% of the
population in our country.
The real news which aren't getting any coverage or low coverage in Press & TV :
1. Farmer suicides over 1.5 lakh suicides in the past 12 years - after
year 2000 itself.
2. From 2008-2011 in 3 years - Over 100,000 small & marginal farmers
have sold their lands in India and migrated to Cities as laborers.
3. Already 70% of India's cotton is BT-Cotton (Genetically modified)
and all farmers are buying seeds from US Agri-corporate giants like
Monsanto, Thousands of cattle developed diseases after eating
BT-Cotton seeds and their milk is contaminated - which press/TV is
ready to cover this story ??
4. When Indian Rupee -dollar was 46 -1 and when oil prices in the
International market was $ 100 a barrel - petrol price was Rs. 60 and
now when Indian Rupee-dollar is 44-1 and international oil price is at
$ 88 a barrel - petrol price is increased to Rs. 70 instead of Rs. 50
- who will highlight this??
5. Our Godavari /Krishna river basin Gas reserves (estimated to be
larger than Iran gas reserves) are successfully sold first to Reliance
and then sold to British Petroleum and are not available to Indian
public - gas prices have increased by over 50% in the past 3 years.
All oil and gas exploration in India is done by US /French MNC giants
- ONGC is busy investing in Kirygystan and other central Asian
countries' gas and commodities exchanges - ONGC will reap profits but
common man suffers...
6. Coal mines are owned by corporates with Foreign ownership, Aluminum
reserves are sold to British and American companies, Steel with Korean
and Japaneses companies, 8 out of the Top 10 IT /BPO companies in
India are foreign owned - they use Indians as white-collar labours -
money is earned and invested outside India itself
7. In the name of industrial development over 4 million acres of land
is given to Corporates who are simply sitting on those lands - Eg: Top
5 of the IT companies are sitting on over 5000 acres of land near
Shamshabad Area in Hyderabad - similarly in many other cities
8. Lakhs of Engineering graduates are jobless - but each one had spent
at least 5 lakhs for their education itself - who want to highlight
this
9. We need not peg our currency with Dollar or Euro - if we peg it
with our natural resources including Land or even our private Gold
reserves our currency will be 3 times its worth than now - which can
increase our buying power in the International market - which CMIE or
which group of Economists are ready to propose this or even debate
this and provide recommendations on this ??
10. If the Govt. announces that the participatory notes of (Mauritius
based MNC) is banned then India's current 80% black money will be
stopped - which news channel want to debate and provide a detailed
report on this ??
11. If the Govt. announces that Agri Commodity trading is stopped
then 50% price fall on all food stuff and essential commodities can be
witnessed - which news channel want to debate and provide a detailed
report on this ??
12. BJP is completely ineffective as an opposition party - could not
stop corruption & large scale environmental damage in Karnataka due to
mining as Sushma & Yeddy are partners in mining crime or Reddy
brothers, as a ruling party responsible for the death of Swami
Nigamananda who was fasting till death died unsuccessfully to stop
quarrying and illegal mining near River Ganga in Utraanjal, Arun
Jatley who is in IPL Board and party to all kinds of corruption in the
name of Cricket by Sharad Pawar and company.
13. Our Army jawans are not provided with modern equipments to fight
against terrorists and are dying everyday in our borders
14. Police forces across all states and cities are not increased in
proportion with Populations or in proportion to increase in Crime
rates nor the intelligence gathering is strengthened - Just to show
that Crime is low many cases are not even registered by Police
nowadays across India
15. State High courts and Supreme court's time is wasted with useless
PILs and politically motivated Rits
16. There are over 1000 vacant Judge positions in Indian courts - due
to which several Civil cases are pending for years.
17. Jaitapur issues and scandals
18. BT-Brinjal /BT-cotton violations by Corporates and the negligence
by BRAI, even over-ruling past assurances, GOs, etc
19. Cola majors & Bottled water sellers exploitation of Fresh water &
Ground water in many areas - water bottled in Coimbatore given in
Trains that are plying between Chennai and Bangalore ??
There are many such relevant events and news for common man that is
capable of affecting his day-to-day life (at least in a specific
region) that are not getting any coverage or proper analysis as to how
they are harming the system in India - in leading press and TV. Many
press Op-Ed columns are simply republishing of what is published in
New-york times or Guardian etc. about things that are not relevant to
us.
Despite all the tamasha the ray of hope is few selfless social
workers, die-hard organic farmers and some good judges of Supreme
court and the majority's Samskriti (some sort of faith in Ahimsa,
Dharma and Shanti)
The single biggest negative is that "The all nonsense tolerating
(chalta hai) attitude".
