Return They Want!
Rehnay ko ghar nahi hai sara jehan humara.
Shame on Home Minister of India.
Our tormentors realized that hounding out Kashmiri Pundits from the valley
and looting, setting ablaze their home & hearth was a great blunder that was
committed by them. The realization did dawn on them, but it is too late.
They become speechless when National or International forum or Human Rights
activists point them to the deserted and burnt houses of Kashmiri Pundits.
They have no answer when asked about the whereabouts of their victims.
Some of them for face saving say they played unknowingly or knowingly the
game plan drafted by Government of India to fail and turn their so called
Movement into a Movement of Loot-Khasoot. Some accuse Moulvi Ummar, Syed Ali
Shah Gillani and Yasin Malik as Indian agents and some as Pakistani ones.
Moulvi Farooq and Moulana Massood were done to death for the same
accusation. Some say the former had begged Mufti Mohammad Syed, the then
Home Minister of India to get him arrested on one or the other pretext to
avail security, but his plea had fallen on deaf ears and was ignored to his
annihilation. Unfortunate indeed! And some shamelessly refer to Jag Mohan
canard.
*'Pesuea navi'*
(*Distribute the cards afresh*).
In Kashmiri, there is a proverb *'Pesuea navi'* (Distribute the cards
afresh). Another proverb is '*Merie merie futch'* (Though always the first,
but always pushed to the wall; *futchalie* means the last and *Meir* means
the first). Both these proverbs apply to me.
They want to take a 'U-turn' to avoid errors and omissions and let me
settle again in the valley.
With very hard labour we constructed our dwellings there with *'attached
bathroom fitted with an English commode'*. I have seen Professor Chaman Lal
Saproo carrying wooden planks on his bicycle at Chaneapora; Scientist the
late Dr. Chaman lal Bhat carrying cement bag in the tri part of his bicycle
frame. I have seen Dr. B L Saproo, HOD Botany holding the other end of '*
rundha*' (the plane) assisting his carpenter to smoothen the wooden planks.
All became owners of their dwellings in new colonies with *attached bathroom
* for the first time in their life, little knowing that they will be thrown
out and shall become again '*futchalie*' –homeless, and shall have to
*'peesuen
navee'* start afresh.
I am sure, that had I not been thrown out, I too would have joined their
procession to cry 'Our demand' *'murta kiya nea kurta'*. And with no loss of
life and time, they could have achieved their nefarious end in shortest
possible time. March 1989, I too raised JKLF banner across the road at
Chotta Bazar. JKLF teenagers rushed into my office with one meter green
strip of cloth, a thin rope and asked me for one chalk to write JKLF on it
and wanted to put it across the road. I gave them three meter green cloth
and a thick rope lest I should be accused of its giving way under any
circumstances. Triloki Nath Ambardar too joined their procession to save his
life but was shot dead while leading their procession. My friend Bansi Lal
Kaw also joined them; I was not an exception, I too would have joined them,
but I had left Kashmir on 16th January 1990, three days before mass
migration. Now having become again owner of a set with an *attached bathroom
*, my President seems to be hobnobbing for my becoming '*futchalie* once
again and start there afresh to ' *piesuen navee'. *By now we have become
experts in *('navie piesuen' te featchalie banuenus munz*) starting afresh
and becoming homeless again and again.
No political empowerment will save me from *'navie piesuen' te featchalie
banuenus munz.* My presidents have been members of many Apex Bodies, but an
exercise in futility.
Beware
1990, we had our own relations with the Muslim brethren. We must be indebted
to them for their timely advice and for not causing total annihilation;
which they easily could.
The Government has become wiser. No job guarantee or migrant salary should
be expected in case of '*fatchealie*'* *status once again as per routine.

Global Economic Downturn: A Crisis of Political Economy
George Friedman
14 August 2011
Classical political economists like Adam Smith or David Ricardo never
used the term "economy" by itself. They always used the term
"political economy." For classical economists, it was impossible to
understand politics without economics or economics without politics.
The two fields are certainly different but they are also intimately
linked. The use of the term "economy" by itself did not begin until
the late 19th century. Smith understood that while an efficient market
would emerge from individual choices, those choices were framed by the
political system in which they were made, just as the political system
was shaped by economic realities. For classical economists, the
political and economic systems were intertwined, each dependent on the
other for its existence.
The current economic crisis is best understood as a crisis of
political economy. Moreover, it has to be understood as a global
crisis enveloping the United States, Europe and China that has
different details but one overriding theme: the relationship between
the political order and economic life. On a global scale, or at least
for most of the world's major economies, there is a crisis of
political economy. Let's consider how it evolved.
Origin of the Crisis
As we all know, the origin of the current financial crisis was the
subprime mortgage meltdown in the United States. To be more precise,
it originated in a financial system generating paper assets whose
value depended on the price of housing. It assumed that the price of
homes would always rise and, at the very least, if the price
fluctuated the value of the paper could still be determined. Neither
proved to be true. The price of housing declined and, worse, the value
of the paper assets became indeterminate. This placed the entire
American financial system in a state of gridlock and the crisis
spilled over into Europe, where many financial institutions had
purchased the paper as well.
From the standpoint of economics, this was essentially a financial
crisis: who made or lost money and how much. From the standpoint of
political economy it raised a different question: the legitimacy of
the financial elite. Think of a national system as a series of
subsystems — political, economic, military and so on. Then think of
the economic system as being divisible into subsystems — various
corporate verticals with their own elites, with one of the verticals
being the financial system.
Obviously, this oversimplifies the situation, but I'm doing that to
make a point. One of the systems, the financial system, failed, and
this failure was due to decisions made by the financial elite. This
created a massive political problem centered not so much on confidence
in any particular financial instrument but on the competence and
honesty of the financial elite itself. A sense emerged that the
financial elite was either stupid or dishonest or both. The idea was
that the financial elite had violated all principles of fiduciary,
social and moral responsibility in seeking its own personal gain at
the expense of society as a whole.
Fair or not, this perception created a massive political crisis. This
was the true systemic crisis, compared to which the crisis of the
financial institutions was trivial. The question was whether the
political system was capable not merely of fixing the crisis but also
of holding the perpetrators responsible. Alternatively, if the
financial crisis did not involve criminality, how could the political
system not have created laws to render such actions criminal? Was the
political elite in collusion with the financial elite?
There was a crisis of confidence in the financial system and a crisis
of confidence in the political system. The US government's actions in
September 2008 were designed first to deal with the failures of the
financial system. Many expected this would be followed by dealing with
the failures of the financial elite, but this is perceived not to have
happened. Indeed, the perception is that having spent large sums of
money to stabilize the financial system, the political elite allowed
the financial elite to manage the system to its benefit.
This generated the second crisis — the crisis of the political elite.
The Tea Party movement emerged in part as critics of the political
elite, focusing on the measures taken to stabilize the system and
arguing that it had created a new financial crisis, this time in
excessive sovereign debt. The Tea Party's perception was extreme, but
the idea was that the political elite had solved the financial problem
both by generating massive debt and by accumulating excessive state
power. Its argument was that the political elite used the financial
crisis to dramatically increase the power of the state (health care
reform was the poster child for this) while mismanaging the financial
system through excessive sovereign debt.
The Crisis in Europe
The sovereign debt question also created both a financial crisis and
then a political crisis in Europe. While the American financial crisis
certainly affected Europe, the European political crisis was deepened
by the resulting recession. There had long been a minority in Europe
who felt that the European Union had been constructed either to
support the financial elite at the expense of the broader population
or to strengthen Northern Europe, particularly France and Germany, at
the expense of the periphery — or both. What had been a minority view
was strengthened by the recession.
The European crisis paralleled the American crisis in that financial
institutions were bailed out. But the deeper crisis was that Europe
did not act as a single unit to deal with all European banks but
instead worked on a national basis, with each nation focused on its
own banks and the European Central Bank seeming to favor Northern
Europe in general and Germany in particular. This became the theme
particularly when the recession generated disproportionate crises in
peripheral countries like Greece.
There are two narratives to the story. One is the German version,
which has become the common explanation. It holds that Greece wound up
in a sovereign debt crisis because of the irresponsibility of the
Greek government in maintaining social welfare programs in excess of
what it could fund, and now the Greeks were expecting others,
particularly the Germans, to bail them out.
The Greek narrative, which is less noted, was that the Germans rigged
the European Union in their favor. Germany is the world's
third-largest exporter, after China and the United States (and closing
rapidly on the No. 2 spot). By forming a free trade zone, the Germans
created captive markets for their goods. During the prosperity of the
first 20 years or so, this was hidden beneath general growth. But once
a crisis hit, the inability of Greece to devalue its money — which, as
the euro, was controlled by the European Central Bank — and the
ability of Germany to continue exporting without any ability of Greece
to control those exports exacerbated Greece's recession, leading to a
sovereign debt crisis. Moreover, the regulations generated by Brussels
so enhanced the German position that Greece was helpless.
Which narrative is true is not the point. The point is that Europe is
facing two political crises generated by economics. One crisis is
similar to the American one, which is the belief that Europe's
political elite protected the financial elite. The other is a
distinctly European one, a regional crisis in which parts of Europe
have come to distrust each other rather vocally. This could become an
existential crisis for the European Union.
The Crisis in China
The American and European crises struck hard at China, which, as the
world's largest export economy, is a hostage to external demand,
particularly from the United States and Europe. When the United States
and Europe went into recession, the Chinese government faced an
unemployment crisis. If factories closed, workers would be unemployed,
and unemployment in China could lead to massive social instability.
The Chinese government had two responses. The first was to keep
factories going by encouraging price reductions to the point where
profit margins on exports evaporated. The second was to provide
unprecedented amounts of credit to enterprises facing default on debts
in order to keep them in business.
The strategy worked, of course, but only at the cost of substantial
inflation. This led to a second crisis, where workers faced the
contraction of already small incomes. The response was to increase
incomes, which in turn increased the cost of goods exported once
again, making China's wage rates less competitive, for example, than
Mexico's.
China had previously encouraged entrepreneurs. This was easy when
Europe and the United States were booming. Now, the rational move by
entrepreneurs was to go offshore or lay off workers, or both. The
Chinese government couldn't afford this, so it began to intrude more
and more into the economy. The political elite sought to stabilize the
situation — and their own positions — by increasing controls on the
financial and other corporate elites.
In different ways, that is what happened in all three places — the
United States, Europe and China — at least as first steps. In the
United States, the first impulse was to regulate the financial sector,
stimulate the economy and increase control over sectors of the
economy. In Europe, where there were already substantial controls over
the economy, the political elite started to parse how those controls
would work and who would benefit more. In China, where the political
elite always retained implicit power over the economy, that power was
increased. In all three cases, the first impulse was to use political
controls.
In all three, this generated resistance. In the United States, the Tea
Party was simply the most active and effective manifestation of that
resistance. It went beyond them. In Europe, the resistance came from
anti-Europeanists (and anti-immigration forces that blamed the
European Union's open border policies for uncontrolled immigration).
It also came from political elites of countries like Ireland who were
confronting the political elites of other countries. In China, the
resistance has come from those being hurt by inflation, both consumers
and business interests whose exports are less competitive and
profitable.
Not every significant economy is caught in this crisis. Russia went
through this crisis years ago and had already tilted toward the
political elite's control over the economy. Brazil and India have not
experienced the extremes of China, but then they haven't had the
extreme growth rates of China. But when the United States, Europe and
China go into a crisis of this sort, it can reasonably be said that
the center of gravity of the world's economy and most of its military
power is in crisis. It is not a trivial moment.
Crisis does not mean collapse. The United States has substantial
political legitimacy to draw on. Europe has less but its constituent
nations are strong. China's Communist Party is a formidable entity but
it is no longer dealing with a financial crisis. It is dealing with a
political crisis over the manner in which the political elite has
managed the financial crisis. It is this political crisis that is most
dangerous, because as the political elite weakens, it loses the
ability to manage and control other elites.
It is vital to understand that this is not an ideological challenge.
Left-wingers opposing globalization and right-wingers opposing
immigration are engaged in the same process — challenging the
legitimacy of the elites. Nor is it simply a class issue. The
challenge emanates from many areas. The challengers are not yet the
majority, but they are not so far away from it as to be discounted.
The real problem is that, while the challenge to the elites goes on,
the profound differences in the challengers make an alternative
political elite difficult to imagine.
The Crisis of Legitimacy
This, then, is the third crisis that can emerge: that the elites
become delegitimized and all that there is to replace them is a deeply
divided and hostile force, united in hostility to the elites but
without any coherent ideology of its own. In the United States this
would lead to paralysis. In Europe it would lead to a devolution to
the nation-state. In China it would lead to regional fragmentation and
conflict.
These are all extreme outcomes and there are many arrestors. But we
cannot understand what is going on without understanding two things.
The first is that the political economic crisis, if not global, is at
least widespread, and uprisings elsewhere have their own roots but are
linked in some ways to this crisis. The second is that the crisis is
an economic problem that has triggered a political problem, which in
turn is making the economic problem worse.
The followers of Adam Smith may believe in an autonomous economic
sphere disengaged from politics, but Adam Smith was far more subtle.
That's why he called his greatest book the Wealth of Nations. It was
about wealth, but it was also about nations. It was a work of
political economy that teaches us a great deal about the moment we are
in.

International Teleconference on Kashmir on August 13, 2011
Emphasised the creation of a legitimate political and physical space
in Kashmir for Kashmiri Hindus
The forced exodus of more than 400,000 Kashmiri Hindus from their
homes in Kashmir and their continued separation from their homeland
remains a blot on free society and a challenging human rights issue.
The Shehjar Publication organized an International teleconference on
August 13th to discuss Kashmir today and analyze the situation for the
Kashmiri Hindu community in the context of South Asia current affairs.
A distinguished panel of speakers presented their views and analyses
and suggested recommendations to deal with the crisis. Participants
from countries all over the world including USA, Canada, UK, India,
China, Australia and U.A.E logged in for the event.
The conference was moderated by Ankit Monga, founding member &
President of Kashmir Hindu Foundation, Inc and Arun Koul Editor of
Shehjar, the single most widely read magazine on Kashmir.
Dr. Richard Benkin, Chicago based human rights activist, Chair and
Co-founder of Human Rights advisory Council to US Congressman made a
case for political advocacy to bring the matter to the immediate
attention of powers that may be. He passionately argued against the
human rights violations that have been systematically perpetrated on
the Kashmiri Pandit community since 1989. "It is a matter of human
rights pure and simple and stopping the atrocities is in the interest
of everyone as it is the result of International Islamic Jihad. What
is important is saving the victims. I believe that you have to target
the US first for two reasons, the first that you will get nowhere with
the Indian Government, will have less success with the UN, Amnesty
International or other International bodies and second no other
country will take up your cause other than the people of this great
nation."
He gave vivid examples of how gross abuses of basic human rights have
been carried out by fundamentalist Muslims in Bangladesh and how vital
it is for the global community to send out a strong message against
this. It is important, therefore, to recognize the identity and nature
of the enemy that faces the Kashmiri Pandit community", he said.
Dr. Subramanium Swamy's statement on Article 370 presented to the
audience explained the need and method to deal with this legal
provision, which creates room for separatists and excludes the
natives.
The President of the Overseas Friends of the BJP, Mr. Harish Dhruv and
Director of the Hindu American Foundation Mr. Samir Kalra explained
how the struggles of the community were part of a larger struggle and
the ongoing actions of their organizations towards a solution. Samir
asked for support of the Kashmiri Hindu community so that the
Resolution 387 introduced by congressman Frank Pallone condemning
extremist violence, lack of religious freedom, and human rights
violations against Kashmiri Pandits is passed in the United States
Congress.
Kartikeya Tanna Youth Director, KHF and an Attorney practicing law in
India and New York, took forward from where Dr. Swamy left and
appealed to the global Kashmiri Hindu community to view positive
developments like Fai's arrest, deferral of US military aid to
Pakistan, the election of a Kashmiri Pandit woman in Wusan village and
the Resolution by Rep. Frank Palone as an incentive to take the lead
in addressing concerns on instances of human rights violations,
thereby commencing an honest process in rebuilding the trust and
harmony. "Despite being victims of terrible atrocities since 1989, the
global Kashmiri Hindu community is well-placed to take the lead in
bridging the ideological divide between the two sides on the role of
Article 370 by standing up for Kashmiris belonging to all religions",
he said.
Mr. Subash Razdan former President of NFIA and Chairman, Gandhi
Foundation discussed the implications of Dr. Fai's arrest and asked
the Kashmiri Hindu community to learn lessons from Fai, even in his
moment of adversity; the way he was dedicated and committed to his
cause which was anti to our cause.
Dr. Shakti Bhan, Vice Chairperson Panun Kashmir said that instead of
having a nationalistic approach to the Kashmir problem, the Indian
Government sees it as a vote bank problem. She pointed out that the
appointment of Interlocutors for Kashmir has to be seen in this
perspective. The second point she made was about the return policy of
the Govt. for Kashmiri Hindus under the present conditions in Kashmir.
"They want to point to us that we have to live there under
subjugation. Thank God, that better sense has prevailed and only a few
hundred people from the community have gone back to the valley. I only
hope and pray to God that the lady folk who have gone there for
employment remain safe and secure". She asked if it is possible to
live in an Islamized Kashmir, where even the name of Srinagar has been
changed to Sher-e-Khas, not to speak about the names of Shankracharaya
hill, Hari Parbat, many towns, even lanes and bylanes whose names have
been revised to Islamic ones. "You may as well be living in a middle
Eastern country!" commented Dr. Bhan
Dr. Romesh Raina the General Secretary of AIKS spoke on the topic
regarding how to get reconnected with Kashmir. "Part of our long
journey is indeed the story of our exodus and the idea of living in
the socio-psychological memory of Kashmir. It relies on
re-connectivity with Kashmir. Through post-exodus circumstances and
survival considerations, the emphasis has to be on the creation of a
legitimate political and physical space in Kashmir which no more
exists now as there has been a near total marginalization of the
community from all areas of mainstream political life of the state."
Filmmaker & Social Activist Mr. Ashok Pandit and Dr. Anil Kaul,
Director KHF, and trustee KMECT drew on their personal, professional
and social-work experiences to explain ways for Kashmiri Hindus to
individually remain connected with Kashmir as well as the need to find
a collective resolution that will help the entire community to
re-establish a physical presence in the valley. Arman Koul, a 13 year
old had earlier, through a poem articulated why there is no substitute
for a physical presence in the valley.
Noted Kashmiri Scholar, poet & Critic Dr. Rattan Lal Shant, Chairman,
KECSS Dr. B.B. Dhar, Founding member IAKF and past President KOA Dr.
Ashok Raina and current KOA President Mr. Paviter Handoo explained
their work and further steps in saving the language and culture of the
exiled Kashmiri Hindu community.
Panun Kashmir, Kashmiri Hindu Foundation Inc- KHF, Hindu American
Foundation- HAF, Kashmiri Overseas Association (KOA), Kashmiri Medical
Emergency & Charitable Trust KMECT, All India Kashmir Samaj -AIKS,
Kashmir Education, Culture and Science Society- KECSS, were some of
the organizations which had representation in the panel making the
forum truly representative of the mainstream Kashmiri Hindu community
This conference was made possible due to the efforts of some key
individuals who worked tirelessly behind the scene including Dr. Amrit
Nehru and Rajeev Sumbly.
Editors, the Shehjar Publication
http://www.shehjar.com
We would like to share a comment by one of the participants Saligram
Bhatt about the conference: "Thank you for your great efforts to keep
alive KP cultural heritage, that is of global interest. We need the
scholars in Shehjar to counter the propaganda by persons like G.N.Fai
with ISI funds."

About Shehjar:
The publication serves the global population of those interested in
Kashmir and in matters regarding Kashmir, particularly those
showcasing the Kashmiri Hindu Culture native to the place. Shehjar is

Radhe Krishna
All,
Maha Mantra Like Celestial cow and the Celestial tree
The
celestial cow known as Kamadhenu and the celestial tree known as
Kalpaka vruksha have the ability to bless one with any boon sought.
Nothing is beyond their power. Kamadhenu can cure one of his diseases or
bless one with wealth if that is sought. The celestial cow can bless
one with food, clothing, any other material thing, place, longevity,
good
health, etc. Kamadhenu or Kalpakavruksha can bless one with whatever he
seeks.
If you desire to do japa of some Mantra, well, it is
up to you. I am always particular that I do not dampen anyone's belief
or faith. If you have been chanting a Mantra for marriage or for money
or for removal of some sorrow, well, do chant it. But this Mantra that I
advocate,
"Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare!
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare!"
is like the Kamadhenu and the Kalpaka vruksha.
Since
this Mantra can bless you with whatever you desire -- employment,
money, longevity, health, good office, spouse, etc.-- it is called
'Maha' Mantra (Mahamantra). Such is the greatness of this Mantra.
Even
if you chant this
Mantra without conviction you will be blessed with what you seek. It
can bestow anything and everything on you. Nothing is beyond its reach.

My health is not so good, especially my eyes. Please tell me a solution.
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:

Can ladies wear Rudraksha?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
Only ladies who have renounced life can wear rudraksha.
------------------------------------
I
get irritated by my boss questioning and the tone in which it is done.
This upsets me and negativity rises. How should I handle this and remain
peaceful?
Sri Sri Muralidhara
Swamiji:
Once Buddha went to a house begging for
alms. The house owner not only refuses alms but also abuses him
verbally. Buddha stood calm listening to all of it. The house owner
was puzzled at the Buddha's indifference and asked him how he could
remain without the least reaction. Then Buddha replied, 'If you wish to
donate me a cow, and I refuse, whom does the cow belong to? Does it not
belong to you? Your abuses are no different!'
Your boss may be showing his work pressures as irritation on you. So
do not get hurt by them and try to remain calm.
---------------------------------
Do we take another birth?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
If you chant the Mahamantra, there is no question of another birth.

Some people say that once we have
human birth,
we will not go into lower forms until we get realization. Is this right?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
No this statement is not true.

Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
We know only Mahamantra. I think it is enough for you too.
----------------------------------
What is Sixth Sense?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
That which makes you ask this very question is your sixth sense.
-----------------------------------
Why
do we get sufferings in life? Why can't God create a world that has no
sufferings, or better not perform Creation at all, at the first place?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
Let
us assume that someone comes to me and I tell him that I am his saviour
and that it is me who has been protecting him so long. He immediately
would ask me for explanation. I go to say that as per his karma, he
should have died at this point of time or some accident should have
befallen, but I have nullified his bad karma and protected him.
Even
if this were true, the person would laugh at me and call me a bluff.
But, if he encounters a dangerous situation and comes out of it without
any problems, it is then that he would realize the truth.
It is
easy to question after an event has happened, but our mind does not
realize the invisible protection that keeps away harm. That is quite
the
nature of the mind.
So, if there is no suffering, we don't realize the protection. That is
why we get sufferings.
---------------------------------
Why do God fearing people seem to suffer more than others?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
A
doctor administers anesthesia only to a patient who needs to undergo an
operation. Likewise the Lord blesses with Bhakti(devotion), those
people who need to work out their severe Karmas so that the effects of
their severe karma do not affect them much.
------------------------------
I
am in my seventies. For the last several decades I have been chanting
several Mantras on various deities. In recent times I have been chanting
the Mahamantra too. However, I have not so far been able to attain in
my life any virtues like 'Jnana' (Wisdom), 'Vairagya'
(Dispassion)and 'Viveka' (discrimination). I have
also not
been able to control my instant anger. Can I be blessed with your
valuable guidance?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
Stick
to a Japa that is most comfortable to you and leave the rest of the
Mantras. Before starting to chant, keep yourself free for sometime.
Remain
silent. Don't talk an unnecessary word. Don't engage your mind in any
work. Be calm. Then first think of your Ishta Devata or Guru and imagine
Him in front of you.
In your heart of hearts, ('maanasika'),
perform Pradakshinam, Archanam and Namaskaram to Him and pray to Him to
deepen your spiritual effort (Sadhana).
Slowly, try to reduce your interference in mundane worldly matters.
You will see improvement soon.
-------------------------------
I
am in my twenties. I read a few spirtitual books and listen to
spiritual discourses and am trying to live a disciplined
life in
this materialistic world. But due to the culture and lifestyle of the
people around me in the metropolitan city I live, I find very difficult
to control my mind and direct my thoughts. I fear that slowly I will
also get in to this materialistic world addicted by worldly pleasures.
So, I would like to take up 'Sanyasa' after completing my duties to my
parents. Please advise me if this is a good choice.
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
Let
me give you a piece of sincere advice. Don't take Sanyas at any cost.
That is because, in this Yuga, it is next to impossible to follow all
the rules prescribed in our Shastras for Sanyasa Dharma. If you take up
Sanyasa and do not follow the rigorous rules properly, you will end up
in hell. Hence, if you wish to lead a secluded life, you can do so the
way you are right now. That is enough.
I will pray to God for you.
God
will not let you down.
---------------------------------
I
am not able to perform regular prayers in the morning (due to my work
schedules) nor in the evening (as I am so much tired after I return from
work). This gives me a feeling of guilt of neglecting prayers. However I
listen to bhajans when I drive that gives me a great peace of mind and
satisfaction. My question, now, is, Are proper prayers a must?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
Although
certain times are considered best for prayers, the key logic behind
giving certain time restrictions and rules and regulations to performing
prayers is only to enforce people to perform prayers. Otherwise, in
general, there are no time restrictions or compulsions for personal
prayers. You can do it anywhere, and at any time. Truly, Bhajans are
prayers only.
Conversing with God in a personal manner
is
prayer in itself. Thanking God for all the good things He has given you
is prayer in itself. Singing His Divine Name is prayer in itself. Mere
hearing of Bhajans is a prayer in itself. So your guilt is unfounded.
-------------------------------
It
is said that the Vedas cannot be chanted by everyone because of the
fear of mispronouncing it. I chant the Lakshmi Ashtotra when I pray to
God. I am not a hundred percent confident that I pronounce the words
right. Will I incur sins because of this?
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
Ashtotras
come under the classification of Stuthis, which sing the praise of the
Lord. So if you commit small mistakes when reciting them, you will not
incur sins. The Lord will forgive you.
-------------------------------
Whenever
I visit the temple or pray at home, I just chant some Mantra I
know. I
forget to mention the trouble or thank for the joy the Lord gives me.
Sometimes I wonder if it is a right way to pray. Please advice.
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji:
It
is really heartening to note that you chant Mantra forgetting
everything else. This is the way to chant and we all aspire for that
state. So please do not doubt the rightness of this way. While you chant
the mantra with one-pointed mind, your Mantra will do the necessary
prayers for you.

SURRENDER OF 1947. (DEFEAT AND DISGRACE, NOT CELEBRATION!)
Once a great country, our Hindusthan lies mutilated in three parts today
with our leaders calling the mutilation of country "Independence while
competing for "Muslim vote banks" under the Will of Sonia
Maino-Mussolini. Why?
And who sheltered, protected and embraced the ENEMY? They were NEHRU and
his mentor GANDHI who not only ESCAPED scot free but are honored and adored
in Partitioned India!
In our slavish tradition & mentality, treacherous mortals riding the crest
of propaganda hypes are far above our sacred, inviolable, indivisible and
immortal TERRITORY (DHARTI). Hence our "Dharti" is shrinking and India
vanishing. How many PATRIOTS sit in the Cabinet of Manmohan Singh and how many
honest members sit in the LOK SABHA?
The challenge for the whole passive intimidated Hindu nation is NOT to
accept today's situation but to REVITILISE & REJUVENATE ourselves quickly on
war footing.
Once our brave men captured KHYBER PASS from the enemy, but today we
cannot even move an INCH into North Kashmir that we claim to be INDIAN!
Today we can neither chase out Sonia Maino-Mussolini nor recover the Bofors
commission from her. Today we can neither raise our Temple in Ayodhya nor
close down the ISLAMIC "Peace TV", broadcasting anti Hindu poison from Mumbai.
In fact, we ought to CLAIM the whole of illegal and illicit Pakistan or
give ULTIMATUM to the so-called "Indian" Muslims to "Quit India".
Once again we ought to march under the same old slogan, "AKHAND BHARAT,
AMAR RAHE!" that we used to shout in patriotic spirit. So, where are our
leaders now?
Here is the eternal Law of Nature: "The weaker the Hindu, the stronger the
Enemy. The STRONGER the Hindu, the weaker the Enemy."
So draw your own conclusion as to how weak and emaciated the Hindus were
in 1947 to "encourage" the intolerant, crude and savage ISLAMIC "rats" to
DEMAND one third of India in order to establish their Pakistan! It will
not be wrong to say that Gandhi's Ahimsa plus Hindus' weakness INVITED the
attack that was unparalleled in history.
The YOUTH ought to be continuously kept INFORMED & AWARE of the
treacherous and savage attack on "Akhand Bharat" in 1947,
euphemistically called
PARTITION.
The INDIAN Muslims must be served with "QUIT INDIA" orders and encouraged
to migrate to Pakistan and Bogusdesh otherwise the Hindus will keep on
walking downhill towards our EXTINCTION.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTITION
The Muslim attack on Integrity of India was the worst ever example of
treason against one's own country of birth and bestiality against one's own
fellow citizens who did not agree with Mohammed's separatist, destructive and
intolerant Islam.
Whether it was 63 years ago or 630 years on in the future, the FACT of
Muslim Deception, Fraud and Surprise Attack has been etched deep in the psyche
of the whole world.
Even after getting nearly one third of Indian territory the Muslims
promptly invaded Kashmir where sad memories of the native Pandits (Hindus) can
never fade away.
Their dream of hoisting the ISLAMIC FLAG over Delhi after capturing Lahore
flies in the face of Bapu Gandhi's spineless stupidity when he said, "Let
them rule India again. If they kill millions of Hindus they will finally
come to their senses and REPENT,"
What hope for the country that lies buried, deep & lifeless, adoring the
DEFEATIST, EMACIATED & APPEASING Gandhi!
Muslims, who had lived in India along with the Hindus since times
immemorial, always had DIFFERENT aspirations in mind. First, it was to
destroy all
the temples and convert the Hindus. Then it was to enslave the civilized land
and impose their savage Sharia Law upon its people, Today even the Taliban
claim to be the BEST Muslims.
All the Indo-Pak dialogues are futile. While the Pakistanis can come into
India and are received well and some even marry and stay put, WHICH HINDU
WILL VOLUNTARILY TRAVEL TO ANY ISLAMIC REPUBLIC? That is why there should be
NO dialogue with the (Muslim) "butchers & wolves" who DETER Hindu
immigration in the other direction. Even the CHRISTIANS are not safe.
Recently seven
were BURNT ALIVE and 40 homes destroyed.
Is the MADNESS of Muslims temporary or permanent? Obviously it is
PERMANENT since each and every word and syllable in their KORAN is PERMANENT.
We cannot forget or ignore Partition since the Muslims stayed back in
Broken Bharat, too. Had they been sent across by Congress and Nehru, we would
have called it INDEPENDENCE. But now, with the ENEMY to the East and to the
West, and also WITHIN, which Hindu can forget Partition while looking forward
to our next genocide?
One ought to recall the Hindu and Sikh REFUGEES of that year, FIFTEEN
MILLION of them, whose memory was obliterated within weeks by Pandit Jawaharlal
Nehru and his ruling Congress Party.
The betrayed Hindus & Sikhs were forced to throw away the memory of their
homes, mandirs, gurdwaras, shops, businesses, factories, farms and lands
that they left behind in Pakistan.
Not one MP or MLA ever asked, "What Independence did Lahore, Multan, Dhaka
and Chittagong, and the 15 million refugees, countless grieving WIDOWS &
crying ORPHANS, get?"
The enemies of "Akhand Bharat" do not believe in Secularism, Integration
or Tolerance at all. Muslims' daily routine is Islam, Koran, Namaz while they
dream of VIRGINS in paradise. They are totally INSENSITIVE to the pain and
feelings of their VICTIMS. Even in Partitioned India they have the nerve,
cheek and gall to OPPOSE the construction of Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
When did a Muslim reflect on how HE would feel with the STAR OF DAVID,
TRISHUL, CROSS or "KHANDA CHAKRA" flying over MECCA as they fly their own
ISLAMIC flag over Sri NANKANA SAHIB?
In PARTITIONED India where they should not even be seen, they demand
EQUALITY with the Hindus. The present day anti Hindu ruling establishment makes
them more than equal to the rest of us when it comes to reservation of seats
& jobs and Hajj subsidies.
Take family planning. The Muslims are exempt. The Hindus are not. Take the
Muslim majority State of Kashmir. Article 370 of Constitution is not
applicable to any other state. What a shame that while the Muslims
could take out
Pakistan the Hindu majority in their own country cannot even expect "
Rashtramata" Sonia Gandhi, defence minister AK Antony or the ex President Abdul
Kalam to declare in public, "I am a HINDU."
Under Gandhi's emaciating influence the Hindus are watching helplessly some
districts of India become Islamic with their own rules that fly in the face
of secularism.
In 1947 our sheepish Hindu leaders not only went along with the MUSLIM "
wolves" but even FAILED to think of a single condition before agreeing to
surrender one third of India to the so-called INDIGENOUS "devils".
On the contrary it was the Muslim MINORITY who first terrorized our top
leaders and then DICTATED their own terms of surrender that we shall presently
see (below).
The Muslims had a MAN to speak for them but the Hindus and Sikhs did not
even have a "Goat" to represent them. The final verdict was totally
one-sided- in favour of the Muslims.
Those who were supposed to safeguard our rights were in league with the
enemy. While claiming to be secular they had no shame and felt no disgust in
surrendering Secularism at the feet of Mohammed. Today they sacrifice our
NATIONAL pride at the feet of an Italian born female who was never vetted for
her loyalty to India or her love of Hindus.
Such glaring betrayal of Secularism and the majority community, who are
native to the soil, would be inconceivable anywhere else on earth.
During the previous countless centuries of slavery Hindu POLITICS were
reduced to pitiable state of existence- fine-tuned to submission, adjustment,
accommodation, appeasement and surrenders.
With Dignity and Pride lost, there was only one wish left, just to survive.
What was discussed at these so-called Independence Talks was less about
Independence but all about creation of Pakistan, a new State for the Indian
Muslims.
Absurd though the new country was, by every yardstick of economy, industry,
religion, politics, geography, language, culture, race and religion, the
Muslims of India were delighted. They had defeated, humiliated and finished
off the Hindus in at least one third of India for good.
They had been given the choice to stay back or to move to their new
country. For the Hindus such "choice" was theoretical while they were going
through their own Holocaust in the middle of 20th century. The Muslims were
slaughtering them all over.
In 1947 frenzied Muslims killed the Hindu wealth producers and demolished
the (Sikh) "bridge". Now the world is watching them PERISH in their own
fires. American soldiers (INFIDELS) ensure that there is no "Mohammed upon
Mohammed" massacre in Pakistan and they do not slit each other's throats.
The only way out for the wild & murderous "Mohammeds" of "DROWNING"
Pakistan is to UNDO PARTITION and live under ONE secular law across
the whole of
Hindusthan.

PARTITION OF INDIA, Part 2.
"PANCH SHEEL" OF NEHRU
(FIVE CONDITIONS OF PARTITION)
What were the terms and conditions of Partition?
"We wish there were some, or at least one!," replied an Indian professor
of history.
And what would THAT be? "EXPEL THEM, LOCK STOCK & KORAN, FROM PARTITIONED
INDIA," his wife added.
But there were conditions, though not from Nehru or Gandhi, but from the
leader of the MUSLIMS, Mohammed Ali Jinnah.
Offensive and preposterous though they were, our perennial ENEMY met with
no resistance, fight, or challenge from the HINDU side. Neither Nehru nor
Gandhi mentioned exchange of population, Referendum or demanded time to
comprehend the implications, or, merely to think it over.
The conditions were fully backed and endorsed by Britain, our colonial
master, and, (astonishingly,) ACCEPTED by Gandhi, Nehru and their "All-India
Congress Party" that claimed to represent ALL the Indians including the Hindus
and the Sikhs and any Muslim "patriot".
Demoralised Hindu & "smashed" Sikh leaders, who have become terribly
secular under the terror of Islam, held their breath while Mr. Jinnah was
proclaiming them, one by one.
It was like the speech by a cat to the audience of rats, approved by "LION"
Mountbatten, the Viceroy.
-----------------------------
FIVE CONDITIONS OF PARTITION:
1. LOCAL (not overall) MAJORITY.
"Wherever we are in majority that territory will belong to our Rasul Allah
Mohammed in perpetuity. You will surrender all that land unconditionally."
"Yes, Sir, we agree. Pray carry on," said Gandhi and Nehru, listening
meekly.
2. CONSTITUTION
"For those territories that you surrender we shall write up and enforce
ISLAMIC Constitution that will be based on the teachings of KORAN. We shall
treat all the KAFIRS, i.e., Non Muslims, as defined and described there-in."
"Yes, Sir, we agree. Pray carry on," said Gandhi and Nehru meekly,
trembling while listening.
3. HOLOCAUST OF HINDUS
We reserve the right to degrade and humiliate the Non Muslims in our
ISLAMIC Pakistan by denying them EQUALITY with the Muslims who will be free to
seduce, abduct or rape a non Muslim female and if she complains, she will be
required to produce FOUR male witnesses to support her accusation. In the case
of all mixed marriages, the non Muslim spouse will embrace Islam at once or
face DEATH.
"Yes, Sir, we agree. Pray carry on," said Gandhi and Nehru meekly,
listening.
4. SPECIAL RIGHTS FOR MUSLIMS IN "BROKEN" BHARAT
("Thou shalt not touch the whiskers of a Momin in Hindusthan.")
Your government will undertake to safeguard life and property of each and
every Muslim citizen in Broken Bharat while we reserve the right to do ethnic
cleansing in accordance with the Will of Allah. In cinemas NO Hindu actor
will be seen doing any love scene or dance with a Muslim actress while Muslim
actors will have full freedom to dance, kiss, play & bare (strip naked) any
Hindu actress."
"Yes, Sir, we agree. Pray, hurry up. We need to start breathing." said
Gandhi and Nehru meekly, listening.
5. TERRITORIAL ENCROACHMENT
Finally let it be clear upon you that any territory or piece of land that
is once under the foot of a Musalmaan or where he lies in grave, will belong
to Rasul Allah, MOHAMMED of MECCA, in perpetuity. Any territory or land that
is once ours will never be returned. Accordingly, not only Pakistan to the
West but also Bangladesh to the East, and any part of Kashmir captured by
us, will remain ISLAMIC for ever."
"Yes, Sir, we agree. Thank you," said Gandhi and Nehru, mighty relieved
that the ISLAMIC conditions had ended and they could breathe normally once
again.
YES, their lives had been spared though MILLIONS of others lost theirs as a
direct result of their "buying peace" from the MUSLIMS. Hindusthan
acquired its most disgusting map outline.
-----------------------------------------
Dear honorable & patriotic citizens of Bharat, This then is the Truth,
nothing else but the TRUTH behind that word "Independence" that the Government
of India, especially "All-India Congress Party" and all those who form
part of the Evil AXIS of "Italy, Islam & the servile Hindu" celebrated today,
August 15, 2011.
It is up to us (and our leaders) to de-brainwash the whole nation. It is up
to us to open our eyes and see the Truth. It is up to us to demand a TRIAL
of Jinnah, Nehru and Gandhi for HIGH TREASON. Such trial can never be time
barred like the trial of Bofors Chor.
It is up to the PEOPLE of India to unite and then become a MIGHTY FORCE to
reckon with. Shedding the traits of jackals but acquiring the guts of lions
we all should step forward and exterminate the anti Hindu, anti secular,
anti national "vermin" who have been ruling and fooling our great nation of
one billion since the Day of Partition in 1947.
