The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is moving ahead with IBM in
the third leg of its Synapse brain chip. The initial phase of the project
simulated the cortex of a cat brain on an IBM BlueGene massively parallel
supercomputer with 147,456 cores and 144TB of memory and developing the
basic synaptic circuits for the brain chip. IBM is unveiling the fruits of
the phase 1 work today and the fact that its cognitive computer dream team,
headed up by Dharmendra Modha, the Synapse project leader at IBM Research,
as well as announcing that DARPA has allocated another $21m in funding to
begin the phase 2 work. Like most DARPA projects, Synapse has some
impressive goals and... there is a lot of talk about "dawn of a new
paradigm" and "dawn of a new age" as researchers try to create brain-like
systems.

research by a team based in ETH-Zurich, Switzerland, has shown that what
we've suspected all along, is apparently true. The team has uploaded their
results onto the preprint server *arXiv*. Using data obtained (circa 2007)
from the Orbis database (a global database containing financial information
on public and private companies) the team, in what is being heralded as the
first of its kind, analyzed data from over 43,000 corporations, looking at
both upstream and downstream connections between them all and found that
when graphed, the data represented a bowtie of sorts, with the knot, or core
representing just 147 entities who control nearly 40 percent of all of
monetary value of transnational corporations (TNCs).

pieces of glass, turning it into new type of computer memory. They claim the
glass memory is far more stable and resilient than current types of
hard-drive memory, which have a limited lifespan of a couple of decades and
are vulnerable to damage from high temperatures and moisture. The glass
memory can withstand temperatures of up to 1,800 degrees F, is unaffected by
water and can last for thousands of years without losing information.
Information can be written, wiped and rewritten into the molecular structure
of the glass using a laser, the scientists claim. The process changes the
way light travels through the glass, creating whirlpools of polarised light
that can then be read in much the same way as data in optical fibres.

During this crisis, Federal Reserve and Treasury officials cooperated with
each other and with the Central Bank Presidents of countries around the
globe to "solve" our crisis by taking over key privately owned companies in
the guise of helping them through massive bailouts. When this program was
completed, the key American industries of Banking, Insurance and the
Automotive Manufacturers were under Federal control; Capitalism was
overthrown and Fascism was instituted.
As proof that this type of change had been instituted, President Obama fired
the CEO of General Motors, an action literally impossible under Capitalism.
We needed no other proof that Fascism was controlling our economy.
During this time, the head of the American Federal Reserve unofficially -
but tightly -- coordinated his every move with the chiefs of the other key
Central Bankers throughout the world, effectively giving the world its first
operational taste of global economic authority.
But, institutional change is required if this planned future global economy
is going to operate permanently.
Therefore, as soon as one crisis passes in one country, a similar crisis
will erupt in another country. Investors are going to react to global news
like never before as they worry incessantly that their portfolio might not
be able to withstand all the forces coming against it from every direction.
But, as we have stated so many times before, the Illuminati does not plan to
collapse the American or the world economy until World War III is ready to
begin. Time and time again, people will be certain the economy is going to

building in an Ashdod industrial park, wounding six people, one of them
seriously .. Iron Dome successfully intercepts rockets bound for Ashdod and
Ashkelon."
While we are certainly glad that Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile system
knocked down rockets aiming at Ashdod and Ashkelon, Palestinian leadership
certainly knows that Iron Dome can be decisively defeated by sheer numbers
of rockets in the air.
The IDF counterattacked:
"The IDF spokesman's office said in a statement that Israeli planes targeted
weapon manufacturing centers in central Gaza Strip and two more sites in the
north and south. "The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli
citizens and IDF soldiers', the statement read, 'and will continue to
operate resolutely against anyone who terrorizes Israel. The Hamas terrorist
organization is the address, and it bears the responsibility'."
However, the IDF also took an action months ago which vibrates with
prophetic Scripture!

eight sites across Israel as mass burial sites in case of a nationwide

to foreseen problems with identifying remains and the need to clear bodies
in order to thwart the spread of disease."
The words, "identifying remains and the need to clear bodies in order to
thwart the spread of disease" reminds me of the somber work in Israel of
removing dead bodies in the aftermath of the Ezekiel 38-39 Russian-led

Since Romney ran a Presidential campaign in 2008 which was clearly designed
to propel him into frontrunner status in 2012, we have believed that the
Republican candidate in 2012 will be Mormon Mitt Romney! We certainly do NOT

that the Global Elite want Romney to be at least the Republican candidate in
2012.

Evangelical Leader Touts Gospel, Not Therapy, as Way to 'Reorient' Gays
The "reorientation" of a homosexual is not impossible, suggests one
prominent evangelical. That is, when Christ is in the mix.
Dr. Albert Mohler, president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary,
concedes that therapy - the secular kind - is not likely to change a person.
But there is hope when a person acknowledges sin and is redeemed by Christ.
"We will hold no hope for any sinner's ability to change his or her own
heart, and we will hold little hope for any secular therapy to offer more
than marginal improvement in a sinner's life," he argued in his blog
Tuesday.
"We hold full confidence in the power of the Gospel and of the reign of
Christ within the life of the believer. We know that something as deeply
entrenched as a pattern of sexual attraction is not easily changed, but we
know that with Christ all things are possible."
Mohler is weighing in on a debate that was reignited after a pro-gay group,
Truth Wins Outs, accused Bachmann & Associates of showing "great antipathy
towards gay and lesbian people" by practicing reparative therapy. The
Christian counseling center, owned by Michele and Marcus Bachmann, was
recently visited by TWO's John Becker who posed as a Christian wanting to
get rid of his homosexuality.
While Marcus Bachmann, a clinical therapist for more than 20 years, has
stated that they would help patients struggling with same-sex desires if
such help was requested, he highlighted that the counseling center mainly
deals with issues such as depression and anxiety.
The debate over "curing gays," as some call it, is one that Christians
cannot avoid, Mohler believes. At the same time, Christians should not enter
the debate "on secular terms."
"We must bring to this conversation everything we know from God's Word about
our sin and God's provision for sinners in Christ," [he] stressed.

This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report'
If you're like me, you were appalled as you watched televised images of the
mayhem exploding in various neighborhoods of greater London last week. This
was England, birthplace of the Magna Carta, fount of modern civilization. In
fact, as most of us were growing up, we had images of Great Britain as being
the most "civilized" nation on earth. You know, "a fine old English
gentleman" image.
Yet here were pictures of young, hooded thugs and ruffians -- boys and
girls, men and women, black and white and brown and Asian -- smashing shop
windows, kicking down locked doors, plundering, looting, and setting fire to
businesses and automobiles. All, seemingly, under the helpless gaze of the
local police.
This was no protest over perceived police brutality. This was nothing more
than greed, insolence, and disdain for societal order and the rights of
others. This was a breakdown of law and order. This was absolute
"lawlessness."
So, too, were the instances of "flash mob" violence and thievery which broke
out over the last few weeks in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Cleveland,
Chicago, Milwaukee, and Maryland. Groups of bored, self-absorbed young
people who apparently feel they're owed something by the rest of society,
just burst into a business, overwhelm the staff, and take what they want.
Though none of those "flash mobs" burned whole neighborhoods to the ground
(yet), they, too, are graphic examples of the encroaching breakdown of
society. In short, "lawlessness."
I remember the late '60's and early '70's on the college campuses. We
thought we were living in the "outlaw years." Young rebels called policemen
"pigs" and demonstrated their displeasure with the "establishment" over the
Vietnam war and other issues. There was rioting and limited incidents of
"terrorism." At the time, it felt like America was coming apart at the
seams.
But, of course, in the last couple of decades we've experienced "terrorism"
on steroids. Our world has moved from the minor to the major leagues in that
regard. And all just as the prophets, and Jesus, predicted. But here in
America, we've witnessed a dramatic increase in the general attitude of
"lawlessness," from the flash mobs in the street to the highest reaches of
government. The Apostle Paul warned that in the last days, "perilous times
will come."
But lawlessness isn't the only recent development that lets us know we're
living in the final days of this Age of Grace.
Two researchers associated with the University of Illinois at
Urbana/Champaign and Northwestern University reported a startling invention
in a recent issue of the journal, "Science." They announced the development
of a "patch" which is thinner than a human hair. It feels as "soft as human
skin" and can draw power from light or ambient electromagnetic radiation. It
adheres to the skin without glue or sticky material. It is practically
weightless and, because of its incredible nanotechnology, can be used to
monitor brain, heart, and muscle tissue activity. When placed on the throat,
it allows the wearer to operate voice-activated devices. Coincidentally, the
device, which they say "blurs the distinction between electronics and
biology," can also be used to digitize the wearer's identity and banking
records, thus making it possible to conduct financial transactions by simply
scanning the easily applied electronic "tattoo."
Now, I'm not saying that this is the "mark of the Beast" described in
Revelation 13:16-18, but there's no denying that it is an eye-popping
example of how technology is racing toward providing the coming Antichrist
with the ability to control the financial transactions of every person in
the world. But technology alone won't be sufficient to cause most of the
world to accept his leadership and even worship him as god. It will take
massive calamities and economic crises to convince the nations of the world
to submit themselves to his rule. And, frankly, when I look at what's
happening in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and even here in America, that
doesn't require a huge leap of imagination!
Finally, this week I'm going to answer a question from some of our program's
viewers in New Zealand. They're Catholic believers who wonder about the
Bible's references to "mystery Babylon" and its connection to a religious
system associated with Rome. They want to know what I'm sure millions of
sincere Catholic believers want to know: where do they fit in the end-time
scenario as described in the Bible.
The answer is so simple, it may surprise you.

Zionists stole Palestinian land: that's the mantra both the Palestinian
Authority and Hamas teach their children and propagate in their media. This
claim has vast importance, as Palestinian Media Watch explains: "Presenting
the creation of the [Israeli] state as an act of theft and its continued
existence as a historical injustice serves as the basis for the PA's
non-recognition of Israel's right to exist." The accusation of theft also
undermines Israel's position internationally. But is this accusation true?
No, it is not. Ironically, the building of Israel represents about the most
peaceable in-migration and state creation in history. To understand why
requires seeing Zionism in context. Simply put, conquest is the historic
norm; governments everywhere were established through invasion, nearly all
states came into being at someone else's expense. No one is permanently in
charge, everyone's roots trace back to somewhere else.
Germanic tribes, Central Asian hordes, Russian tsars, and Spanish and
Portuguese conquistadors remade the map. Modern Greeks have only a tenuous
connection to the Greeks of antiquity. Who can count the number of times
Belgium was overrun? The United States came into existence by defeating
Native Americans. Kings marauded in Africa, Aryans invaded India. In Japan,
Yamato-speakers eliminated all but tiny groups such as the Ainu.
The Middle East, due to its centrality and geography, has experienced more
than its share of invasions, including the Greek, Roman, Arabian, Crusader,
Seljuk, Timurid, Mongolian, and modern European. Within the region, dynastic
froth caused the same territory - Egypt for example - to be conquered and
re-conquered.
Against this tableau of unceasing conquest, violence, and overthrow, Zionist
efforts to build a presence in the Holy Land until 1948 stand out as
astonishingly mild, as mercantile rather than military. Two great empires,
the Ottomans and the British, ruled Eretz Yisrael; in contrast, Zionists
lacked military power. They could not possibly achieve statehood through
conquest. Instead, they purchased land. Acquiring property dunam by dunam,
farm by farm, house by house, lay at the heart of the Zionist enterprise
until 1948. The Jewish National Fund, founded in 1901 to buy land in
Palestine "to assist in the foundation of a new community of free Jews
engaged in active and peaceable industry," was the key institution - and not
the Haganah, the clandestine defense organization founded in 1920.
Zionists also focused on the rehabilitation of what was barren and
considered unusable. They not only made the desert bloom, but drained
swamps, cleared water channels, reclaimed wasteland, forested bare hills,
cleared rocks, and removed salt from the soil. Jewish reclamation and
sanitation work precipitously reduced the number of disease-related deaths.
Only when the British mandatory power gave up on Palestine in 1948, followed
immediately by an all-out attempt by Arab states to crush and expel the
Zionists, did the latter take up the sword in self defense and go on to win
land through military conquest. Even then, as the historian Efraim Karsh
demonstrates in Palestine Betrayed, most Arabs fled their lands; exceedingly
few were forced off.
