What makes God happy

If we think objectively and wisely, we all know quite well that shallow
bribery and hollow praise is not the way to gain favor with those who are
sufficiently intelligent. Then, it is futile to try these fake measures of
appeasement on God, whose intelligence knows no limits and who is the very
source of all intelligence.

The role of prayer and meditation is not to appease God, it is to solidify
our own internal beliefs and habits so we can live a life that is concordant
with divine ideals.
Prayer and meditation are daily rituals for self refinement and
purification. God is not appeased by the mere act of these rituals.

God's happiness lies in two things. One, that our thoughts, actions,
beliefs, and our behavior be infused with ideals of purity, honesty,
generosity, merit, and honor. Two, that our efforts toward the welfare of
humanity be untiring and selfless.
