God's judgement on sin is terrifying as testified by the ten plagues
that punished the rebellious Egyptian Pharaoh, and other plagues that
destroyed rebellious Israelites. But Jesus came to earth to bear God's
wrath against our sin. If you know the joy of sins forgiven, then you
have an obligation to be merciful to others. There might be people at
work or in the community who have wronged you or who deserve God's
wrath; choose to show them kindness for Christ's sake.
