Dear mindful friends,
Please come at one of these times for the Volunteer Work Day tomorrow
(Saturday, May 1) at the soon-to-be "Dallas Meditation Center" (727 S.
Floyd Rd., Richardson, TX 75080):
10 am - 12 noon
1 - 3 pm
3 - 5 pm
Please arrive at the beginning of one of the above times. It is too
chaotic when several persons arrive at random times. So, please
arrive promptly at 10 am, 1 pm or 3 pm. We will start each period
with a brief meditation followed by specific work instructions. Most
of the work will be physically easy, such as sweeping,
window-cleaning, putting trash outside, and moving light objects.
If you cannot make it on Saturday, you can help on Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, or Thursday as well (and next Saturday, May 8, too). Just
contact Kathy to arrange a time (she or Denise have keys during the
week): Kathy@AwakeningHeart.org
If you are unable to help with volunteering, please consider helping
out with a generous monetary donation toward the renovation, paint,
furniture, chairs, plants, lighting, fabrics, signage, etc. So far,
the wall renovation, paint primer and the wood flooring has cost
$3,000, so if 30 persons just donated $100, that will cover at least
this part. Thank you to the 7 persons so far who have contributed
about $100 each. We now just need 23 more persons to be just as
generous. You are a blessing!
I wish you could all see the progress on the building so far. The
large 30' x 30' Meditation Room with the new walls and new wood
flooring looks BEAUTIFUL!!!
